Let’s talk numbers: 27 holes; 7,740 yards long; 7 cliff-side holes dropping 300 feet to the Chavón River below; and breathtaking 360 views. By our calculations Pete Dye’s masterpiece, Dye Fore, has a winning formula. Characterized by spectacular views of the Dominican mountains, the Chavón River, the Marina, and Altos de Chavón, this challenging cliff-side course is a delight for players of all levels. Now some more numbers for you: 12 and 15—two of the greatest par three holes in the world; 5 the amount of holes on the Lagos course with lakes in play; and 1 the number of strokes it takes to get started on the round of a lifetime.

We played at Dye Fore in December. The course is at Altos de Chavon in Casa de Campo, which is the mock mediterranean village at the resort (which sounds strange but is very good). The course was in fabulous playing condition with all surfaces very...More

Played both Dye Fore and Teeth of the Dog while staying at Casa de Campo. Teeth of the Dog lived up to the hype but was also surprised with the quality of Dye Fore. We purposely played it first, and found the 2 different nines...More

I have been to Casa De Campo more than 20 times. This course and Teeth of the Dog are a must for any golfer. Greens were slower on the front than the back. Cart service was sketchy, but for sure use the cart person for...More

Dye Fore has three 9 hole layouts - Lakes course (Lagos), Marina and Chavon. Lakes course is the newest of the 3. Marina course was closed when we played - told it's closed for the season. Lakes course was unimpressive - while in very good...More

A great track with stunning scenery. The course is challenging but for a mid handicapper like me it was a pure pleasure to play. Easier than the famous Teeth of the Dog track down by the beach.

I was lucky enough to play this course on a business trip and it was better than I could have ever imagined. I played the Teeth of the Dog and I think Dye Fore was actually harder. The greens on Dye Fore were slower than...More

Excellent golf course with spectacular views. It won't disappoint. Clubhouse is a bit disappointing. Views are remarkable even before you set off for your round. Very long and wide course but don't mistake that with being forgiving. One of my favorite courses of all times.

Heard so much about Teeth of the Dog ,played International Pro-Am and our group to a man thought that Dye Fore although up in the mountains was every bit as good as the Teeth of the Dog . Greens fast and true , fairways excellent,...More

Really a good course, tough and beautiful views from the mountain. See the Chavon River beneath you and the ocean in the distance ... this is a must play right behind the Teeth course!
