Located in Scape Park, Cap Cana. After passing an interesting trail where you will find some of the most peculiar flora and fauna in the Caribbean, you will reach this spectacular lagoon at the foot of the 65mt high cliff. These turquoise waters have a depth of 37 meters in its deepest point.

Absolutely beautiful place to visit. The water is crystal clear and cold. We enjoyed our trip to Hoyo Azul.

Getting to this beautiful blue pool was worth the 30 minute hike to get there....it was a hot humid day so arriving at this natural wonder and jumping into the very cool water was wonderful! Watching everyone in our very large group have so much...More

We had rented a car in the Dominican Republic and went to Scape park on our own. We had heard of the Blue Azul and paid $69US each (more than what tours charged), however, we were given a "private" guide (spoke very little English) and...More

1000 times I would rather to go to Santo Domingo to "los 3 ojos" rather than being at Hoyo Azul. It's practically similar, the only difference is that at Hoyo Azul you can swim and 3 ojos you don't. But if you are a nature...More

It is an amazing place that you need to visit. It is like you are swimming in clear water in an open cave. It feeds from under ground rivers, so the water is nice and cold. it is about 75 feet deep in the middle.

Do this, it is really cool. It is part of Scape Park. There are other things to do there also. We did the waterfall first and what a let down. All man made, not a natural formation.

Walk from the front to the hoyo wasn't bad, however our "tour guide" never said a word to us during the walk, he just listened to music on his phone. Once we got into the hoyo it was very rushed maybe 25 mins in the...More

We booked at the hotel - not through trip advisor. They picked us up right at the hotel. I would check with the hotel when you arrive - but I wouldn't worry about it until you get there. Everyone we encountered really... More
