George our guide for monkeyland was amazing! He was hilarious, knowledgeable, and engaged the whole group! If you’re going to monkeyland in the DR make sure you get George. And the best driver is Nelson!

We had a great time on this excursion!! We went on May 6th and George (who is super kind, very funny and very informative) was our tour guide on the way there and Nelson (who was a great driver) was our driver. I didn’t realize that George would give us so much information about the DR and it was such a nice addition to learn about the DR as a whole and the towns we were passing through. As for the monkeys, it was super fun! They are so small and very friendly. The walkthrough of the cocoa and coconut oil process was great too. One of our favorite parts was being able to buy products from the locals at the end. I think this is a great option for people looking for something fun and informative that is only a half day! PS- you do have to wear a mask when with the monkeys at all times but not really otherwise!

Such a great excursion! We were picked up at our resort and head out right on time. Our guide Monchy and driver Sammy were awesome! We saw lots of areas of DR during our bus ride that we never would have seen on our own! Zip lining was lots of fun and we felt safe the entire time. Monkeyland was excellent and ended up being the highlight of our day. The monkeys were so cute and we loved how they interacted with us! They love their fruits and veggies! :-)

The coffee and cocoa plantation was interesting and you got to sample coffee, hot cocoa and adults got to sample Mama Juana, the nations cocktail. The monkeys were awesome! My husband and I are huge animal lovers and this is something we will definitely do again on our next visit! Our guide, Ruddy was informative and funny. And although I tend to be nervous when others drive, especially big buses, our driver couldn't have provided a more safe, relaxing trip! The whole experience was fantastic. There was a lot of walking and rough terrain but overall this should definitely be on your must do list!

Wow! If there’s only one excursion you do on your whole vacation, you MUST meet the monkeys. I wasn’t sure what to expect but it was so amazing, and you got to spend a lot more time with them than I’d expect. It’s slightly a drive, but our tour guide Ruddy and driver Aneuri made the drive fly by. Super awesome, and Ruddy keeps you entertained the whole time. Definitely try and get Ruddy as your guide if possible.
