I only put a small round to attract the attention of managers. We are here to play and to have good time. We are not here to dance or to listen to the music so a DJ is really not necessary expect for special occasion.
From 9pm to 11pm the music is so loud that I couldn’t hear the sound of my slot !!!

This casino has no Hard Rock Cafe and the only restaurant in the casino that welcomes you is an Asian restaurant which I have no idea what it has to do with rock and roll. The other restaurant in the casino is always booked up in advance. You can get a day pass so you can eat at the hotel Buffett for 180 US which is not worth it. The machines were horrible for payouts I won 180 free games on a 30 cent bet and only won $23. In Canada I would have won at least a $100. I work for a casino so I know when the machine payout is tight. No one in our group of 8 won anything. If you are looking to go spend your money and not eat anything but Asian food and not win anything this is the place for you

In addition to our Youyu and Montserrat manor restaurants, the central casino bar offers tapas, pizza, hamburgers, among others. Our slot machines meet international standards and our customers have won big jackpots. We went to the Hard Rock Casino for the day and had such a poor experience.
Before I go into our bad experience, the bartenders at the main bar were awesome! Very friendly and helpful! We sat down and talked to them for a little bit. I feel bad that I didn’t write their names down. We liked them so much we tipped them $20 each for 1 one drink.
So I that’s is how our experience started at the casino. However that great experience at the bar didn’t extend to the rest of the casino…
We started playing some slots and decided to move to the tables while the rest of our family of 8 people continued at the slots. When we went to sit at the table we were told we had to get a players card.
So we got up and got a players card and went back to the table.
While I went the bathroom, my husband started playing blackjack. They refused to take the $100 bill bc there was a small tear at the bottom. Oh and by the way this was the $100 bill we got from this casino when we cashed out our slot money.
Then I sat down, very unfriendly!! To the point that I played 2 hands and left.
Then my husband moved to a slot machine and won $280. When we went to cash out we were told that he needed to have put his players in order to collect our money even from the slot machines.
I told her her that she was the first person to tell us that. I was only told I needed one for the tables.
Luckily she was nice and let me cash out our ticket but sh made it seem that anyone else wouldn’t have allowed this.
This seems like a scam and not sure how this is DR law when the casino at our resort doesn’t require it.
This entire experience was not what I had expected. It was very poor. I would never go there again to the casino and it left a very poor impression that none of my family would stay as a guest.
In summary:
1) casino staff at the tables were rude
2) players card requirement- not sure how this is a DR requirement, but if they are going to enforce that there needs to be signs right at the front when you enter. You shouldn’t be allowed to play a slot machine without inserting your card. How horrible would it be if you couldn’t cash out bc you didn’t know.

At Hard Rock Casino Punta Cana, we strive to deliver unparalleled service to all our guests and we are disappointed to know that you’re were unhappy with your experience.
Kindly note that the players card is a legal requirement. Dominican Law 155-17 requires all casino guests to be registered in order to process any transaction or play within the casino.
Signs are located at the entrance of the casino and also at each slot machine referencing the requirements.
We do strive to greet and interact with all our guests in the most courteous and friendly manner possible however it does appear that you and your group had a different experience at the tables. We do apologize for any unfriendly behavior you received from our dealers as this is not acceptable and not the standards we try to instill in our Team Members. The dealers however are instructed not to accept any money which is torn or defaced as we can not accept them in the Dominican Republic.
We do appreciate your honest feedback and hope that this do not discourage you from choosing Hard Rock Casino Punta Cana for your future gaming destination.

What a great way to celebrate my birthday! This was only my second time coming here, but with all the amazing staff, it felt like I have been coming forever. Shout out to Alex, Ney, Virbrum and other entertainment staff for always being fun, kind, and putting on good activities throughout the day. However, I did miss YEFRI CAPUCHINO a lot! He was there the first time we came and he made us feel included all the time and we were never bored. Wish he would come back!

We are so enjoying our stay here ! We’ve had so much fun hanging out in the lobby every night with various activities and events: karaoke, live bands, singers, etc. We absolutely LOVE taking pictures and watching the interactions with the people dressed up as statues in the lobby. SO FUN & definitely an all around guest favorite :) the kids especially think it’s so cool to see. A highlight of our stay !

This resort is not all inclusive every time you turn around it costs more on inside the resort, the food is terrible if you even get waiting on, we met 3 people from the staff were actually friendly (Olga @ the members pool, Henry and Patrick in the casino) everyone else only wanted tips and to ignore everyone unless you are apart of the 100grand club with actually has a private pool, the water parks only designed for kids, the ac in the rooms doesn't actually work, they do not stock crown royal and constantly run out of jack Daniel's then tell you they have to try and find it or get approval from a manager to get more and argue non stop about it. The night club is free to get in unless you come in late then you have to pay entry, you can only set down in the club if buy a bottle and all the drinks cost more money. The services in the casino for drinks when playing is so slow to get a drink, its faster run out of the casino to drink and come back in although you can't take drinks in the casino.

This is resort property is too big . We simply can’t walk from our room to the beach. So we have wait the golf car. we call the bus . Same thing if you want to go to restaurants. Not so many bus come around have to wait for awhile, the resort it is not adults only so there is a lot of kids screaming . Running around all the place .
Casino is huge but they make roll made sure favorite the resort, for example the blackjack the dealer get 22 It is push even you get 21 you can’t win that hand !

Regarding the 22 push comment on your review, this is only true on our "Free Bet Blackjack" tables which are clearly marked in the casino. We also have traditional Blackjack tables where when the dealer goes over 21, everyone left in the game wins! We hope you'll come back and give us another try soon!

José Manuel, Wanda Floria, and Carmela Álvarez entertained us with great drinks and conversation. Truly lived up to the Hard Rock experience. It made our 1-week business trip a success cementing relationships among 21 countries for the humanitarian aid and disaster response of the Western Hemisphere.

Awesome all-inclusive resort. My husband and I traveled alone but I can see why this is a great destination for families. There are plenty of activities onsite to cater to adults and families on a daily basis.
We enjoyed the various restaurants onsite, especially Zen, Bistro Med, and Montserrat Manor. Staff were really friendly and welcoming.
My husband and I also had 2 Butlers assigned to our stay, Gianniny and Victor. Words can't express how helpful and amazing they were to us. They assisted us in rides to various parts of the resort and booked our spa and dining reservations. They also shared details about any shows or events taking place. They both made our stay feel like a true vacation. Gianniny and Victor work as a great team and their energy alone made us enjoy our stay even more.

Quality of the food was subpar and getting quality cocktail without having to pay for it was impossible. When we did offer to pay for a name brand liquor they went ahead and used the cheap liquor instead. There's no possible way you can win at the casino it's stacked against you.
