Fun to ride horses in the surf
Dec. 2019
We booked a tour to ride horses. The horses were well trained and the tour operator started with a safety briefing. We climbed up and down several hills and saw beautiful vistas. We end up coming all of the way back down hill to the sea where we removed the saddles and rode the horses backpack in the sea until we were swimming with the horses. We dried off and then returned to town. A great adventure. Be sure to bring a swim suit and towel.

Horse Back Riding in the DR
May 2018
The stables were so clean! and the horses, while small, were in excellent shape and so well mannered! Our wranglers were very good at rating our riding skills, so we got to RIDE! Through the country side, to the beach, for a gallop through the surf - right out of the movies.

Wonderful Horseback riding stable for children and, Veterans who need horse back riding Therapy and all others who want
Aug. 2018 • Family
Bit by Bit is a wonderful place to ride for therapy for children and, Veterans who need horse back riding and all others who want to learn how to ride

They have 5 or 6 well behaved horses in different sizes from tall to short. .
The staff is very conscientious and well trained in both therapy riding and general riding.

There are many volunteers who help with therapy riding, cleaning the stable, feeding the horses and working with the horse’s grooming

I highly recommend Bit by Bit. By the way Bit By Bit is a not for profit organization.

Fun Horseback Ride!!!
Apr. 2016 • Couples
This was my boyfriend and I 3rd time at this ranch. When we set it up we specifically asked for this ranch. We love Philip and other guys there. Very friendly and knowledgeable of surrounding areas. It was interesting to see how Dominican life is and how different the people are. Pictures were more expensive this time we bought CD last year too, but they are great pictures! Love you guys at Rais Ranch!!!

Horseback riding Punta Cana

We didn't do the beach ride but we did a short trail ride. All the horses were malnourished. No water was available after they got back from rides. We actually saw one collapse. Broke our hearts. Suggest all boycott until they treat those beautiful creatures with the dignity they deserve

A 10 min briefing on how to ride a horse would have been appropriated, it was a just a photo shoot and at the end they try and sell you the photographs for $65
The horses were underweight, the saddles were older than me. Animal welfare has a long way t go here.

Great ride!

The guides are very friendly. The horses are easy to control. The guides will walk or gallop the horses depending on what you are comfortable with. There are many fun memories we will have from this experience. Be sure to bring some money (cash) with you. They will take photos of you through the ride and burn them on a cd that you can purchase at the end. We had about 60 photos on our cd. There is also a small gift shop at the end where you can purchase souvenirs. It was nice to get off the resort and get a true feeling of the country.

My daughter and I love riding, but my husband and son are not huge fans. The guides were wonderful! The scenery gave us a true feeling of the country and showed it's beauty. The main guide Phillip was wonderful! The group was broken into 3 parts. We all still followed together, but the experienced riders were given the opportunity to gallop, the adventurous inexperienced were given the opportunity to trot and the non-adventurous didn't feel pressured to do anything but walk. I was really concerned about being board just following the horse in front of me, but Phillip made sure everyone had a good time. My daughter and I did this excursion TWICE in one week! And my son actually enjoyed it and is talking about taking riding lessons now! That's impressive for a 13 year old! Thank you Phillip♡
