    Busy
We was in Grenada for the day as was on a cruise ship. Had a tour around the island which included these falls up a steep bumpy highway where just off the road down some steep steps was this small waterfall surrounded by green lush vegetation. It was very busy with locals selling tourist gifts and even though free we was asked to donate to jumpers who threw themselves into the water from the upper rock faces.

    Annandale falls
Absolutely beautiful place. Not a long walk at all to get down to it, and the walk is very pretty, and on the way there is a little viewpoint. There is a walkway that goes behind the water fall and you can stand under the water fall. You can also go for a cool dip in the refreshing water. It was a great experience, would definitely go again.

Pretty waterfall to visit for several minutes
Annandale Falls is 30-feet tall and is surrounded by tropical plants. At the bottom of the falls is a pool. As other reviewers have already mentioned, women play drums and ask for donations, and a man jumps into the pool in exchange for donations. Other people tried to sell their local goods such as spices. I thought that the waterfall was pretty, and I was sure to get a photo in front of it.

    Delightful place to visit.
Absolutely delighted place to see. The mesmerizing cascade captivated us, and the bar overlooking the waterfall provided the perfect vantage point. Sipping on drinks while waiting for the rain to subside added a touch of serenity to our visit. A must-visit spot for nature lovers!

Magical stunning waterfall in lush surroundings
Well worth the bumpy ride up to visit a stunning waterfall. Waited our turn to walk behind it and take a selfie. Gorgeous dense plants surrounding it and beautiful pool turning into a river. Locals try to get you to buy spices, pay for a photo with a tiny monkey, or give a guy money to watch him dive off.

This is a nice waterfall. Easy to get to. Nice pool that you can swim and dive into. Very pretty setting. It is worth the trip down there.

Annandale falls is one of the easiest waterfalls to visit in Grenada. It’s not the most spectacular one but it’s pleasant enough if you happen to be there on a quiet day.

I visited when it was almost empty and enjoyed the quiet and lush surroundings. The restaurant Wild Orchid was very good (I had a delicious veggie burger) and the staff was friendly and attentive.

The main reason for my 2-star review is the caged monkey that it is kept in a small enclosure near the entrance to the falls. It is such a sad sight! Particularly after coming from Grand Etang National Park where we had just seen beautiful mona monkeys in the wild.

Monkeys belong in the wild, not in sad, cramped cages to attract tourists. Shame on any tourists taking pleasure in captured wildlife. And the same goes for the beautiful parrots held in equally small cages at the entrance.

I never write reviews. But in beautiful Grenada that is proud to be a nature island. How can you allow a beautiful solitary Mona Monkey to be trapped in a Rusty cage at the entrance to the falls, sitting panting and holding the wire of the cage with it's little hand. Tourists want to see Mona Monkeys in the trees free and they are part of making the place beautiful for all creatures. All the signs say only leave footprints. And another little monkey is trapped in a harness at the entrance. Please don't pay to have pictures with the monkeys. I left feeling I wanted to set them both free. Grenada set them free.

The falls were nice--but our driver took us to the guy who had the Mona monkeys ready to jump on you and pose for a picture. What a cool experience. Not to be missed.

Massively overhyped. You are charged to walk down the hill and stand and look at the falls. The water in the pool at the bottom was muddy and not at all what you would want to swim in.

Avoid this place. Grenada is supposedly a country that prides itself on its wildlife but then allows distressed caged animals to be on display at the entrance? Are tourists meant to enjoy that? Complete negligence and lack of awareness in 2024

Beautiful falls but overtaken by tourists. There are much better falls in Tobago. This one has been commercialized & crowded.
