It is a strenuous walk on steps to reach the top of the hill from St. George. Your reward is a historic in a semi-dilapidated condition with some great views all around of the harbor and the city. There is an entrance fee for foreigners....More

Fort George is well worth the steep walk. There are amazing views all round. You can see the cruise ship terminal, the town and the harbour. There are several cannons there. There is a small entrance fee.

Beautiful view of the coastline and city. Interesting perspective on the cost of fixing and maintaining a historical structure. Part of me says leave it as is...to show the impact of weather and time. Part of me says invest adn improve. It's a stunning location.
