Grandanse beach is the most popular beach in the island of Grenada for both locals and visitors. Super Long stretch of golden brown powdery sand. Warm crystal/ blue waters that dance to it's own rhythm. It's a must visit destination.

We stopped here for a couple of hours one afternoon when we had hired a car for the day. It's a beautiful beach, long, lovely sand and warm clear sea. It is a public beach but it wasn't busy, probably due to the fact that there wasn't a cruise ship in port that day. There are some beautiful hotels right... More

Ok - so maybe not going to compete with some of the beaches on Barbados - but a jolly fine beach. Possibly this is an unfair benchmark i.e. if I was comparing to Europe then it would be in a class of it's own. (Plus I like coral/lots of fishes etc). It is an incredibly long sandy beach and fantastic... More

We stayed on the beach for ten days and the best thing I can say is if you are a sun person, this beach is a 10/10. Since we are mostly water people, while there is activity up and down the beach, the snorkelling and swimming are better at other beaches we have had the pleasure of visiting. It is... More

Spent a great day at Grand Anse. Did have to pay for chairs but when we went for lunch at Umbrella and came back an hour or so later we still had our chairs waiting for us.

Sun rise to sun set this beach is the best. You can stroll safely without being pestered by people trying to sell you things. Even when sellers do come along they are friendly and not pushy. Relax and enjoy your time here.

Went here when visiting Grenada on our cruise. A great place for a swim. Not a lot of amenities here but you can get sunbeds and umbrellas if you need them.

This is the first beach day we enjoyed on our trip. Be prepared to pay $15 taxi ride to this beach. As soon as we got there, some men tried to sell us beach chairs and an umbrella for $30. I was intrigued by the colorful umbrellas a little farther down the way so I convinced my husband to keep... More

Unfailingly, I have been swimming in the aquamarine waters of Grand Anse bay practically every day during my 4-week stay in Grenada. My favourite time is 7-8am - air is still relatively cool, the sun is still rising behind the towering hills on the east, and the is quiet and almost deserted, but for a few waders and strollers, sandals...
