I probably went to this beach on non cruise days, and the beach was pretty much empty on a warm afternoon. It was a nice time to relax. There were no vendors selling trinkets. The beach is close to the city of St. George's. Lots...More

A beautiful white sand beach with nice calm water. There are a few trees that give shadow. Most hotels offer sunbeds. A part off the beach is crowded with sunbeds and people from cruiseschips. But most of the beach is not busy. There are several...More

We stayed on the island for two days then sailed with 50 others on a windjammer called the Mandalay. Fun every moment and a new island every day. Not a big cruise ship to be seen. This is a great way to explore. 5 days...More

This large, easily accessible beach is exactly what a tropical beach looks like in a Londoner’s imagination! White sand as far as you can see, fringed with a selection of trees for shade and the bluest of blue seas. In November it is wonderfully quiet...More

Hot sun, sandy beach, warm ocean with schools of fish swimming around you, it was just beautiful. No complaints. We spent a week and we were not disappointed. Friendly staff and local people to chat with and help with any question you have.

Grand Anse beach is one of the most beautiful beaches I have seen. Very clean. Lots of little fish swimming around your legs. Sheltered in a nice little cove.

Love this beach will come back here time and time again. Best place to swim, snorkel lie in the sand or even sail a hobby cat.

We enjoyed the day at Grand Anse Beach. Just about as perfect as you can get. Wonderful sand, calm water. Great swim beach. Local vendors renting beach chairs and umbrellas - $15-$20/day. We took a water taxi from the cruise pier for $5 each person/each...More

A beautiful stretch of white sand with less people than you might imagine. One end gets busy when there is a cruise ship in St Georges but it's easy to escape just by walking to the other end. Umbrellas is a great beach bar half...More

Yes!-take your snorkel gear! Grand anse does not have the best snorkeling in relation to other areas of Grenada, but the water is beautifully clear and aqua and it's fun to swim the length of the beach. In front of Savvy's... More
