We walked to Fort Napoleon from the cruise pier. It took about 25 minutes, and was good exercise. We felt very safe walking on the road, since there was as much foot traffic as there were bikes, golf carts, and mopeds. Just a few trucks...More

Take water with you to walk up to Fort Napoléon; the views are great, it is worth it The guided tour (in french) done by a local lady was great! Definitely recommend

If you are going to Les Saintes for the 1st time, it’s a must! The best schedule is to walk up to the fort in the morning (opening at 9:00) and enjoy a 360 view. You can visit a small museum about the 1st Caribbean...More

Didn't see any. People were renting little carts, like golf carts for the day.
