crystal clear turquoise sea, beautiful sandy beach. Very busy so come early if you want to find a space to park your car. Also when a crew ship is stopping, you have waves of tourists who may not be the most considerate and nearly sitting...More

This is a good beach if you like a good choise of places to eat and things to do. Not the most spectacular beach on Guadeloupe.

A great meeting place for all ages, quite the social centre of the town. The beach is clean with plenty of plam trees for shade. The water shallow and very child and water-walking friendly

We timed our visit to St. Anne beach to coincide with the Sunday market at St. Anne. We got here around noon and parked on the street. We walked through the market first which was nice. There were spice stalls, rum stalls, fruit stands, souvenir...More

Clear water, fairly crowded beach, pretty shallow so good for families. Beside downtown area. Daily market downtown about a hundred meters away.

We stayed in Saint Francois but I wasn't overly impressed with the beach at Raisins Clairs which seemed to be the best one there. We didn't have a car so took a bus to Saint-Anne which go every half hour (usually!). The beach at Saint-Anne...More

This is one the beach most visited in the island. This is special for kids. Not deep and not waves at all. The water is clear and you can see small fishes in the water.

We are staying in Deshaies and decided to check out St. Anne today because we were told the south coast of Grande Terre would have the calmest waters for swimming today. I was apprehensive after reading the reviews on how crowded it gets, but wanted...More

Just returned today and already thinking about going back. Water is clear and warm, Sainte-Anne is walkable, but getting out of town with no car is tough. Buses don't run on weekends. Taxis are costly. Distances are further than we expected. But the beaches were...More

What town does the cruise port stop at? It’s about a 20 minute ride from Gosier to Ste Anne Beach. A bit longer from Bas du Fort. I would think that is not so expensive as a taxi to Basse Terre or the west coast of... More
