Such a beautiful spot. To get there was incredibly simple, and very well signposted. We got there before 10 in the morning on a Sunday and didn't have trouble getting a parking spot. We initially went to the side across from the car park and...More

The beaches of Guadeloupe are stunning. The jungle oasis that wraps around the waterfalls in the middle of the island are equally a do-not-miss, especially to understand all that this less-trafficked Caribbean island has to offer. Cascade aux Ecrevisses doesn't warrant an entire day, rather,...More

This waterfall is easy to get to and easy to find. You park your car and walk 5 minutes on a paved path. You can take pictures or go for a swim. The area is in a beautiful rain forest. There is a small shop...More

This is one of the places to stop on the Route de la Traversee and it's worth it. As others have mentioned, it's a short walk to the low but powerful waterfalls and adjoining river. There were many people both in the falls and in...More

A welcome and very pretty break from driving the Route de la Traversee. Foliage and falls themselves dramatic and cool in a hot day.

Make sure you don't miss this gem! Go with a bathing suit on because the water is beautiful and you can swim up to the falls. The path to the falls is in excellent condition so strollers and wheel chairs can easily make it. If...More

It's only a short walk (not hike) back to the waterfall. There were dozens and dozens of tourists there, but it was still pretty. We moved on to another waterfall that was much more remote -- Saut de la Lezarde. It was incredibly muddy and...More

Very crowded when we went but still worth the 10 minutes stop while driving through the area. Would have spent more time and explored if there weren't so many people.
