Whatever you do, don't leave Haiti without having been up to Cap Haitien and the Citadel. Its absolutely magnificent.

Be prepared for a serious hike to the top especially if you do not ride a horse up and take the shortcut! It's well worth the views from above but it's definitely a hike! Take plenty of water and fully charged cameras and camera phones...More

They will let the adult and child sit on the horse. There are a couple of dune buggy (Rhino) available too.
