and the rest of the world! You can't go to Jamaica and not visit anything concerning the Marley family. The tour is brief, but enough. The guides are extrovert, funny and slightly stoned :-) The stories they tell are lovely and funny at the same time. Even if the bus trip is quiet long, it's worth it! And during the... More

It's a long windy trip through the forest to get there, but well worth the trip! (about 2 hours from our hotel in Ocho Rios). It feels like you are driving in the middle of nowhere and then ta daaaaaa........you arrive! Upon arrival you are met with a friendly welcome and offered drinks and weed, etc. If this isn't your... We didn't want to visit Jamaica and not learn something of the Marley family. We went to Nine Mile which is the birth and final resting place of Bob Marley. We stopped by "Mama" Marley's school and then entered the community. It wasn't a super busy attraction so you don't have to worry about navigating around people. We were introduced... More

Have been to Jamaica before but didn't get to visit Nine Miles then so just had to go this time. It was well worth the bus trip (took just over two hours to get there from our hotel in Montego Bay). The journey was a bit treacherous as the road takes you high up into the mountains and are very... More

We had a private driver who toured us from Montego Bay through the countryside to Nine Mile and Bob Marley's mausoleum. At the gateway to the centre you are approached by a variety of people selling everything from trinkets to brownies and "fatties". A polite "no thank you" and they leave you alone. Once you drive through the gate, it... More

First of all, if you are offended by marijuana or marijuana smoke, just don't go. The booking agent made it really clear, as did the tour guide and the bus driver, that there would be lots of smoke, and still people came on the bus and then complained about it! It is in the air, people are lighting up all... More

Very educational to say the least. I didn't realize Bob Marley came from such a humbling up bringing. I enjoyed the whole excursion, the 2 hour bus ride through the high mountains. I don't know about everybody else but I like seeing the country side of places I never been before. The whole thing was wonderful

I visited this place, only really knowing Bob Marleys songs and little else. once inside our group of 10 were assigned a guide, and have to say he made even more enjoyable as you could see the love and respect he had for his surroundings. You get to see a 5 piece band playing, when you first see them 3... More

Really enjoyable tour to Bob Marley's home! Of course lots of people trying to get your money - but that's par for the course! Just say NO if you don't want to buy, they don't give you a hard time! We had a lovely couple of hours there. The trip to get to the - Nile Mile was very interesting... More
