We bypassed the official hotel & spa and conferred with Ras Steve whose team took care of our large group and led us up the hill to the springs. The massage, hot and cold towels, stones, mud masks and bucket showers were beyond amazing! 7 adults left feeling relaxed and renewed. The city/foreign kids didn't want to leave. This was... More

We went to the mineral baths for the first time yesterday and had a field day. The baths inside were nice, could do with some modernisation but were clean. We stayed for 20 minutes which is just what was needed. Reasonably priced also. The only snag is that the locals will jump onto your pickup at the bottom of the... More

Forget about the hustlers and drive through the hotel gates. The building is dated reflecting its historical architecture. Clean, pleasant environment with choice of Jacuzzi or Roman tubs. Priced reasonably for a 20 to 30 minutes relaxing soak. If you would like a peaceful retreat in the hills with the sound of the river and lush vegetation, this is the... More

This hotel has traditional Jamaican character and comfort. The warmth of the staff is in keeping with the climate. This was only an overnight stay. We arrived quite late into the evening, but the staff made us feel very welcome, and were very accommodating, preparing a meal for 7, although the kitchen was closed. We had to leave early the... We had an excellent experience at the official bath and spa. We did the Roman bath and it was excellent. It helped the pain in my leg. Other family members did the jacuzzi and their report was also excellent. I plan on the jacuzzi next time. Please be aware that there are persons outside of the official site ("hustlers-doctors") who... More

My family, friends and I visited Bath as I had been a few times before on my many visits to Jamaica and throughly enjoyed it. This time was different, as we drove up to the fountain people on the road asked for a lift up there. I later found out that the people who got a lift from you claimed... More

We arrived to the Bath Fountain Saturday morning. It was a rainy day and the river was strong and dirty. The locals that provide massages and sell oils there were VERY PUSHY and PERSISTENT. They didn't advise us of the service they were offering, instead they grabbed our arms and lead us to the river. They sat us down and... More

The best way to enjoy the mineral bath is to take a hike up the mountain, where you will enjoy the hot spring without spending money on the hotel and spa. BEWARE of the locals!!!!---They are very PERSISTENT in getting you to do business with them. They offer massages and will OVER-CHARGE you if you are not careful to negotiate... More

I cannot recommend this place at all,the entire building needs to be refurbished. The staff is pleasant. The security does nothing than sit and observe, then he dozes off for awhile. It would be a pleasure to see this building modified and water runs out the taps efficiently.

My dad always told me about Bath Fountain as one of the places that I need to visit. Today I now know why he said that. Myself and my boyfriend had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Ivan who gave me the best massage with pimento and eucalyptus oil. In addition to washing my whole body with the natural hot spring... More
