Stopped here as part of a cruise. What a waste of time. Very little to see or do so give it a miss. Walked from tender drop off to Fort Charles and back in half an hour then got on a shuttle as we thought we may have missed something, but we hadn’t. Shuttle just took us to Fort Charles and back in 10 minutes.

Great tour guide in an interesting historical location with great significance to Jamaica. There is not a LOT to see but would still recommend as even the location is very interesting.

This actually has houses that sunk in an earthquake and old cannon and fake ones that move. The kids will love it. Don't miss St Peters Church and The Old Goal nearby.

You guys, leave this tour behind. There is nothing in Port Royal and you are totally wasting your time going there when there is so much more to do in Jamaica. If you read this review and still venture out to Port Royal, shame on you. Good luck.

Dined at Gloria's restaurant in Port Royal Kingston Jamaica after a long flight. Steamed fish and bammy with vegetables was an enjoyable meal. Great restaurant

We enjoyed seeing the Fort. Our guide was knowledgeable. We were the only ones there. Hopefully others came later in the day!

Port Royal has very good weather, the people are friendly, lots of shops, restaurants. The beach, no the whole area needs cleaning.

Finally got to visit Port Royal. Overall, this was a great experience. Lots of history and information. They now have a tour guide which makes the experience even better.

I would highly recommend bringing a water bottle because sales of food/drinks are paused do to COVID.

Of Captain Morgan fame, today, Port Royal is known to post-medieval archaeologists as the "City that Sank". it the most important underwater archaeological site in the western hemisphere, yielding 16th–and-17th-century artefacts. Several 17th and early 18th century pirate ships sank within Kingston Harbour and are being carefully harvested, under controlled conditions, by various teams of archaeologists. Many of these are displayed in the museum when it is open! The fort area is very interesting. A few bars and restaurants abound for a break.
