Visited Shaw Park Gardens today, a really pleasant experience. The guide was knowledgable and entertaining. As well as the stunning plants and waterfall, the humming birds were amazing.

Get there by taxi from your hotel. Allow 1.5 hrs. including the drive. Walk all the way to the bottom of the park and then if you are a bit hardy down the little trail to the very bottom of the waterfall in the gully....More

A good way to see the city from above and to know a bit of Jamaican Botanics, a anormous variety of planst, trees, flowers... Lovely..

Afraid not. There were several levels to the gardens and very few slops. We went with a 7 month old baby and had you carry her as her stroller was of no use in the terrain.

Trust me, this is the place to be. Your family will always have this memory, you can chose here or Cranbrook flower forest in the same parish. Being that its 40 people, I would chose the latter. Hope this helps. Good luck... More
