It was a typical tourist spot. Not very interesting to me. Lots of locals trying to get a dollar. The walkway is not handicap accessible. Lots of stairs. The gardens were nice, but overall expensive for the benefit. The best time we had was in the gardens looking at monsterous spiders!!!

I did this recently and had no idea what I was getting myself into. It was so much fun and so worth doing. Mind you it is a 900 foot climb up the waterfall but it is so beautiful.

I guess people have different expectations and experiences. I was warned by many fellow passengers on our cruise not to go to the falls experience since it felt rushed to them. HOWEVER, I had a very amazing time climbing up the falls. The water felt colder than I had expected but our tour guide was great explaining the history, local... More

We went as a group up the falls, holding each other's hands and following the person in front of you. You had photos taken and a chance to go down a mini water rapid, as well as falling backwards into the water. The water was coldish, but refreshing on a warm day.

We booked through our Tui rep at the hotel. Picked up by a shuttle bus with a few other people from other hotels. Once there we were assigned a tour guide who guided us all the way up! It was the best experience I could of ever imagined having. Don't forget your water shoes

We travelled with 2 girls aged 8 and 7. there was heavy rain 3 days before our visit and that leads me to believe the current in the falls was very strong because of rains in the catchment areas. My girls could not climb comfortably because the current was so strong. There are different tours. One tour starts from the... More

We did a catamaran trip to Dunns River Falls. If you like to snorkel, don't take this trip. There is nothing to see and you have to follow guide while he feeds very small fish some bread and you are in the water for maybe 20 minutes. Dunns River Falls are beautiful and fun to climb, but way too crowded.... More

I really wasn't sure what to think going into this excursion but it was really amazing. I had a blast climbing the falls with our group...my boyfriend and I were going to go alone but then saw a group and was invited to join. I'm super glad we did! The tour leader took amazing pictures of us climbing the falls... More
