Dunn's River Falls

Great place to go. We were able to book this excursion right at the Falmouth port. It was a great experience we had a great workout that day!

Long lines, long waits and guides pushy for tips and some sales people aggressively selling trinkets... All of this taints the natural beauty of this place...

We stayed at Mangos near Falmouth and took a day trip to Dunn's River Falls. The falls is an amazing attraction but it is for the adventuresome. My wife and I and another couple went as a group. The couple with us climbed the falls while my wife and I did the walking tour and acted as photographer. It takes... More

When we first saw the Falls, I wondered if I could accomplish climbing the Falls. But with the help of the guides, it was a fun time.

We went with Jamaica tours, booked out of our hotel. We were supposed to be there from about 11 to 1, but we ended up waiting outside the front gate for our tour leader to get our wrist bands for about 1.5 hours! So we really got less than an hour in the park. The falls were neat, but the... More

To be honest climbing 45-1hr while holding hands with someone else was not high on my list but it was just great fun! The guide and videographer as brilliant fun and make the whole experience enjoyable. We brought the video with the photos which is a little expensive but they are hilarious and a great thing to show people when... More

We really enjoyed our visit to Dunn’s River Falls. The park is really well laid out, and the climb up the falls is really fun. The guide did a great job getting everyone up safely, and made sure we all had a great time. A couple of tips: first, wear the water shoes. My wife and I wore our Keen... More

You just have to do it! Since hurricane Gilbert in 1986, the falls is less steep and therefore easier to climb. I recommend taking wading shoes with grips although the rocks have been scored to help with grip. You can climb accompanied for an afdotonal fee for a guide or unaccompanied. The entrance fee also provides access to the beach... More

Great experience climbing the falls, guides were good fun and one offered to stay with my partner and son to help her back up with the buggy (lots of steps). All in all great way to spend a couple of hours.

Spent a day at Ocho Rios as part of a cruise. Thoroughly enjoyed the day from start to finish. Our onshore excursion included a visit to Mystic Mountain and the Dunn's River Park. We were transported to the locations by shuttle bus so could spend as long as we wished at each of the locations. The summit of Mystic Mountain... More
