No way this is not a scam . We paid about $17 American entrance fee and the tour was more of someone saying a few words and kind of wandering off. The road there was insanely rocky and filled with potholes and to show up and what you are paying for is pictures of a view that’s it. The main historic house closed because of “Covid” .? The only reason people are there terrible experience and something tells me that “been here for 31 years” guide is just pocketing the money for the opportunity for a photo opp, that’s it.

Loved seeing Noel C'owards house-it was a lovely experience-there are photographs on the piano of ppl such as Joan Sutherland, Lawrence Olivier & some of the musicians & thespian types, Coward worked with, the house has been left just as it was, & the whole place has such a sense of history.we were the only ppl there, it was a beautiful day-&this house is in one of the most perfect spots in all of Jamaica-Orcabessa & Ocho Rio's are wonderful/amazing-but the view from the gardens here is 2nd to none. (If you get a strange feeling of dread coming over you, as you sit outside on that hill-don't worry too much-if you gently turn to look around there will be a group of (huge) vultures waiting to see if you leave any food behind. (We got a taxi there, & it's quite a way-but the staff at the house are lovely, they are friendly & helpful- & it's something you don't want to miss, wherever you are staying on the island. 5 stars all around, bc it couldn't hv been better.

We were very fortunate to visit Firefly since it had just re-opened after being closed for the pandemic. Without a driver I don’t know how we would have found it since it is definitely off of the beaten path. The drive from the road up to the parking area for the house is the biggest challenge but even that is fine if you take it slow. It was fascinating to see this piece of history but a bit disappointing that it has not been better preserved.

We walked up and found the house as I had seen 4 years ago (could be better maintained, sadly). Staff were friendly and knowledgeable about Coward and his life. A very peaceful setting..

Noel Coward led an interesting life and moved here after visiting his friend Ian Fleming. The house and artifacts are interesting, and the grounds and view are the best in Jamaica for history and awe. Nice caretaker / guide there too,

We had a taxi from GoldenEye to Firefly, about a 20 minutes drive, The road up to Firefly is narrow & full of potholes but the house is amazing. It has been kept as in Noel Coward’s day thanks to funding from Chris Blackwell. The lounge has old books and photos of well known celebrities and the window seat has the most fantastic view of the sea on three sides. The kitchen has his frying pans hanging up and his monogrammed towel hangs over the towel rail in the bathroom. Annette, the guide for the house was friendly and knowledgeable and enjoyed showing people around the property. We saw the original house belonging to Captain Morgan of pirate fame and also Noel Coward’s grave on the headland. An interesting historical place to visit.

This is the second time my husband and I have been to Firefly. They just repaved the road, so now it is very easy to access. The tour was nice and the bar area in Captain Morgan's home is a nice touch at the end. It is peaceful and very scenic. I would recommend bringing a picnic lunch with you, since the scenery is so fabulous. the tour only takes about 15 minutes so having a picnic lunch would be nice so you can enjoy the location a bit longer. I will definitely go back again.

Very difficult to find but when you find it the view is brilliant. The house itself was surprisingly simple and basic, i expected a grand place! Very run down and in desparate need of refurbishment. Very expensive at 20 US dollars, in fact a rip off in its current state.
