Although a majority of the shops are closed the beach is open on weekends and ship days. The beach is clean and has an extremely reasonable entry fee. Lifeguard on premises and Margaritaville is right there for lunch and drinks. River water enters into sea...More

Very disappointed. Looked like a ghost town. Only a few shops open on a Saturday. Little scary. Several shops permanently closed. Ones that were open weren't too pushy so that was nice.

This shopping center in Ocho Rios has an excellent variety of shops. Blue Mt. coffee, rum, and souvenirs are featured in most stores. All is duty free. There are also several jewelry stores.

Love this quaint little shopping area. Each day we were there, it was very quiet. The shops were more upscale than the market but it had reasonable prices.

On day of visit no one open and it was obvious that most had closed down. So we ended up at jimmy buffets restaurant, which made the visit. It's a shame that the place was not open as it has great potential

Has gone down hill in recent times. Only worth a visit when a cruise ship if shopping is your deal is in and then full of very loud and arrogant visitors for a few hours. Needs to be upgraded and quick or it will close

Good shopping with less stress than the markets. Vendors will bargain with you. We were rushed because we were on a tour, but wish we could've spent a little more time there.

If you mean because of Thanksgiving, they do not celebrate that holiday, so everything will be open. I have been in Jamaica for several US Holidays, and many Jamaican ones too and I have never seen anything closed (other... More
