It has been a dream since I was kid, to have my OWN dolphin. However, that dream is not feasible....so closest thing is swimming with them and spending time with them. It

My husband and I were visiting for our honeymoon from Texas, we had decided before we left we wanted to swim with the dolphins. We booked the excursion through our hotel which was a great choice. We were picked up the bus driver was great, it was about a 30 minute ride which was comfortable and entertaining! We got to... More

Dolphin Cove is a beautiful facility with friendly & well-trained staff. There are several types of dolphin experiences depending on the type of encounter you desire & price. Our group learned various signals used by the trainers before we got into the waist-deep water to touch & kiss our designated dolphin. A photographer captures this experience when it's your turn... This is really a once in a lifetime experience, it was really amazing to swim and touch the Dolphins. You can also swim with sharks and sting rays, or for the less brave watch the shark show. There are a few other activities on site and plenty of things to keep you busy. You are however a captive audience so... More

There was a group of 13 of us that went together and it was nice the day we went - not overly busy. We got there and got checked in with our wrist bands and then it was time for our dolphin swim right away. It was fantastic! we got to learn about Toni - our dolphin - her anatomy,... More

Great experience, the property is huge, and admission also allows you to stroll through the facilities and see birds, bunnies, snakes, sea urchins, iguanas, roosters and much more, it's a mini zoo in there, plus snorkeling, water slides, and shows at no added cost. Also, the day I was there they had some upgrade special deal going on where the... More

I did the cheapest option which was the encounter in which you stand at the side of the enclosure and get to pat a dolphin and get a dolphin kiss. I think you're better off paying for the whole experience, but this was a nice little intro. I've been to another dolphin encounter in Bahamas and these guys were fairly... More

Wow. A bucket list must! We did the Dolphin Swim. I'd recommend that you're a decent swimmer before booking this excursion. They do provide life vests as well. It's great for children who love the water. Make sure to purchase a DVD to watch again and again. Dolphins are amazing creatures and I plan to return.

This was part 2 of and all day excursion from secrets st james (part 1 was dunns river falls). We went for the ultimate swim package, we had 2 dolphins in our group of 8 people and got to do 3 individual tricks with the dolphin additional to the group activities. The kiss, the dorsal pull and the foot push... More
