Our family was there in October. The place is fairly new. Staff from front gate to life guards were friendly and courteous. My two boys love the water challenge obstacle course. The kids were in the water the moment they arrived. We spent 3 to 4 hours there. The boys wanted to stay longer. There is a restaurant that sells food.We ordered lunch around 2pm and I was lucky to get the last two lunches. The fish was excellent.Price is affordable. We plan to return again soon! Its an affordable place to take the whole family to.

I went to Wata Land with my boyfriend in February of 2015. It is near the Blue Hole, so the 2 activities would make a perfect day.

Wata Land seems like a great concept, just needs a little more to do. The slides were great, but there are only a couple of them. The obstacle course in the middle was a lot of fun, but again, small, and quick to finish. There is a trampoline in the middle which is fun for a bit. Then there is Kayaking, which again, was fun, but just a short little trek.

Everything together was a good time, again, I just wish there had been a little more.

What is nice, if you are a parent there are activities for the kids. There are also rafts to float on if you are looking for a more relaxed time.

There was food on site, which is great to have. The food was delicious!

Definitely would go back again, but maybe with more people, 2 was just not enough (especially when we were the only ones there).

The slides are horrible and some of the slides weren't even working, not to mention the pools they seem to have a piece of plastic thing to cover the bottom which is very rough, it bruised my skin and then they made us buy tickects for a river tour but persons still went without purchasing any tickets. The river tour was awful, the river was dried up and to make matters worst they took us to the so called falls where there was a piece of bambo used to make the falls with dirty water. The entire place is terrible and was built on a budget. it needs to be shut down!

It’s a waste of money it’s not well kept, only 3 slides, but what’s worse is that SOMEONE STOLE MY HUSBAND SLIDERS,a FAMILY WITH CHILDREN LIKE US,security guard it’s USELESS YOUNG BOY WHICH HAS DOMENICA NOTHING ABOUT IT AND MANAGEMENT IT IS EVEN WORSE!!!We asked him to go to them and ask them to look in their bag,he didn’t do it,we were sure it was them,we left disappointed with my husband BAREFOOTED
we drove to kfc in ochi and guess what we meet the same family with the daddy WEARING MY HUSBAND SLIDERS,he refused to give them back what a trump of a family,we did don’t want to get killed over a pair of shoes so we just drove away, they were 4 men and 3 women,my husband was by himself.
MY DEEPEST SHAME ON THE MANAGEMENT OF THIS STUPID PLACE FOR HAVING DONE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO GET OUR SHOES BACK.
Carry on teaching your children that is ok to steal and take other people stuff, shame on all of you, nothing justifies stealing especially infront of your own children!!!

My niece and nephew came down for the summer and I took them with some friends there for the summer and it was a total disappointment.

My niece fell and hurt her back because of how slippery the steps were and ended up in the hospital so i ended up spending the entire afternoon and evening at the hospital.

Another patron got hurt too and ended up at the hospital and had to undergo surgery to put back her hip in place. It was just a bad day.

And on top of that there was no service vehicle to take patrons to hospital, good thing we had our own ride and the same for the other patron. They were both sent to the hospital with no one from administration accompanying. We had to cover all cost associated with injuries.

The place needs maintenance, upgrade and need to be much safer and cleaner.

Maybe it was when it was freshly open but when we went there...........It was totally disappointing.

Feel free to visit on your own but I wouldn't recommend it until it is sorted out properly.

My family and I went to wataland yesterday, the 1st of January to enjoy ourselves. Traveling from St James, is quiet a distance.the road that leads to the park was very bad especially for low vehicles. After traveling from exhaustion for hours, only to face disgust. The people is not ready and will never be. The water in the pool was stagnant and that's not hygienic for anyone at all. We had to wait for the go cart to be fuelled and fixed for 45 minutes before we could use it. I was so turned off by the water that I didn't even think about eating g there. It's not a tourist attraction...saw no tourists. This is for locals only. If I knew it would be like this I would just stay at home and full my bathe and swim in there r just relax, it would be more fun. Anyways I didn't go into the water, didn't eat the food didn't do anything. Ohhh! And there's only three safety guards, and they don't even look like they can swim. I was dying to reach home. I also heard that the park was shut down because of safety issues. It should be shut down permanently. People will get sick from the stagnant water that everyone urinate in and spit in and doodo in. I honestly would not recommend this park to anyone.

wat a land. wat a dirty, sorry excuse for a waterpark, waste of money land! we were not pleased with our visit to this place! after driving hours to enjoy the hype of it , it was a big let down to see how dirty the water is. it was green! we decided to make the best of a bad situation until my friend came out of the water and found something slimy stuck to his body. it was someone's cold. how nasty is that?
kayak? what kayak. a boat is not a kayak; and one? come on......
the inflatable playground is tiny. the trampoline in ocho rios is much bigger. and the slide... well the slide would be great if the water was deeper, a 5 yr old can stand there....but thats the only OK thing about the place. toilets dont flush and the list goes on. but what really really pissed me off, is when i went to the gate to ask if thee was a human resources manager i could speak to, the cashier wouldnt get off the phone and no one paid me any mind. after saying id write a bad review a man who stood there shook my hand saying hes the promotion manager. giving me excuses as to why the place is in such a state! 'we had a party yesterday' that was his big reason for the nastiness. right there he admitted that the place was not up to standard. 1200! 1200 for that crap! i dont advise anyone to go there! this place is terrible man! and we werent the only ones disappointed!

Had a fantastic day sleeping by the crystal clear stream, taking a hike & trying out the jungle-gym on water. The staff could not have been nicer and were very inviting right from the front gate. The food was awesome and there are multiple bars. Do yourself a favor and visit, you wont be sorry. There is plenty of room near the river, which is just picture perfect with stairs leading straight into the water, and plenty of room around the enormous slides and water attractions. Just loved it!
