We enjoyed ourselves, and it's a must visit if you are in the area, but that's because theres not a ton of stuff to do in the area. Still, you should go. It's like a tree house in the middle of the water. Theres a few choices in libations, and no food, so bring snacks. Whats cool is you drink,... More

We did this as part of a South Coast tour. The experience getting there was a little harrowing on an extremely rickety boat, especially when the motor failed! But we did eventually get to the bar and the fun began! It's a very unusual place with a lot of guys hanging around smoking weed and trying to get you to... More

We paid $20 to take a small boat out to Pelican Bar. It's all drift wood and about a mile off shore. There is a small bar with cold beer for $4 and a fisherman catching fish right there and scaling and cooking it up for you! The water is so shallow you can walk around or snorkel. Plenty of... More

This was a very unique experience. I seen it on the travel channel a couple years ago, and made a promise to myself that the next time I go to Jamaica I was going. Words cannot describe this place, u just have to go and see for self.

We went on an excursion that included Pelican Bar. It was very windy so not the best day but the view was amazing. They have very limited items as it's a remote location but they had drinks, beers and some food. It was worth the trip out.

Situated about a mile offshore, the Pelican Bar is an absolute must see. There is nothing else like this anywhere in the world. Spend an afternoon dipping your toes in the warm waters of the Caribbean Sea, while sipping a cold Red Stripe or rum punch and feel your worries drift away. Sample some of the freshest seafood you will... More

What an experience! Literally a bar out at sea, made of driftwood. I had read about the Pelican Bar on TripAdvisor and so decided to tag it onto our day trip to the Black River and YS falls. Our driver negotiated with a local bar to take us on their boat and collect us when we were ready to go... More

Had the lobster from Floyd's, it was pretty good and I'm not a huge fan of seafood. But the highlight of the trip was that we got to meet Floyd and play him in Domino's and my wife beat him twice, pretty sure he let her win!!!!

What an unusual place! Not much on offer as far as variety of food/drinks, but what they have is good! They fishermen caught fish right from the back of the restaurant, gutted them right there, and cooked them, then served them just like that. It was the first time I've eaten food that was looking back at me, and I... More
