Cool - fun - unique - intriguing. You need to hit a boat to get there - I guess you good swim; ha ha but almost impossible. Kayak - tough as well. Boats can be hired from Black River or a place not far away...More

Started the day with Joe Cool Tours - highly recommend, first to YS Falls then Black River and ended perfectly at Pelican Bar. Had our first Rum and Ting (yum!) waiting on our pick up boat - Basil's Boats. So very awesome to see this...More

This was very interesting place but not the most friendly of staff. We were the only ones at the bar and about 6 locals and only one would engage and talk to us. Would have been more fun if more people where there to talk...More

Amazing location, the four of us had a great time here. Boat trip to get to bar is fun along the Black river where crocodile's can be seen. Chilled vibe. Fantastic view and surrounded by beautiful reef where stingrays can be seen. Met Floyde too.

It's a very nice place to go hang out for a couple of hours.. I bed you didn't see anything like it.. Go have a drink and take a swim around the car and enjoy the beautiful sight...

Situated on the emerald waters they swim in the beautiful fish. Great food and good rum . You can leave a commemorative inscription of the wooden planks of this unusual bar and swim in the shallow warm waters around .

You need to pay for a boat out to the bar at the very least. The local people from the area do charter to the bar.

I agree with CHelsea. And it depends on how old the kids are. There were 4 kids there when i was there but around the ages of 15. It's really just about drinking beer in the middle of the ocean.

1.5 hrs to 2 (if coming from west end of negril). Book a trip to YS Falls, black River, it's all in the same parish.
