Marshall took me all over the place, I had a blast, he has created some awesome trails in the mountains and he seems to know just about everybody too, we stopped in a bunch of places and met a couple of his local friends as well
Highly recommended!

Hey Cam much respect from myself and my crew boss Goldteeth. I had a nice time guiding you around the trails and sights and am ecstatic you liked the stop off nuggets as they have taken years to develop. I hope to have you on the trails when they are all running nice, I think we passed on Scrub'a'Dub. Sometimes weather permits me to allow anyone on trails that change drastically due to rain or heavy winds. The blue/white moss on the trails turns from grippy and dependable to icy slick as the moss turns green. Thanks for the revue....please send me your mailing address for the free tee shirt.

We had a very good time discovering one of the best coastal part of Negril by mountain bike. Our tour was led by Marshall, he's very knowledgeable and helpful. He took care of everyone of us from the beginning to the end. Our total distance was approximately 40 kms, it was manageable. We stopped at unique spots like the Just Natural Veggie & Seafood Restaurant, a unique place that worth the visit. We also had a the chance to jump into the refreshing water of the blue hole, almost 7 meters high!! That's also a must. Very memorable experience, thank you for your time Marshall!! I highly recommend Zion Mountain Bike Adventures to anyone looking for a distinctive mountain biking experience in Negril. Way to go Marshall, all the best!!

"Unique" is a term I never thought about but I guess it describes what we offer for a mountain bike adventure. We here at Zion MBA form he adventure around the skill sets of the group and it is based on the the weakest rider and what they can handle while having a Rad time. It is a hard task as the most skilled one still needs to get satisfaction on and off the bike. I do test the group at the start of the day on challenging old broken roads as that will tell me what the group can handle. The Blue Hole Mineral Spring in Brighton is one of ny favourite places in the world and sharing this "unique" oasis with people from around the world makes me happy. Knowing that later that night they will feel different after lounging in the healing waters at Wabba's Paradise. Then there are moments like when I demonstrated what ackee is and how to pick it safely and then sample some raw and that was done off the beaten path far from any all inclusive the riders are staying at. Meeting my friends all over the place, in the bush or on a deserted strip of beach in the middle of no where.... that is my Jamaica. Zied and family thank you so much for trusting in Zion MBA to help make your stay here in Jamaica special. Forward 2021 and new adventures, hope to ride with you all again. Marsh aka Bush Doc.

It has been a few weeks since my time in Negril and by far the best day was the ride that I did with Marshall. He is a great guy who took me all around Negril and showed me the true Jamacia. We covered a lot of ground which was nice because I got to see so many things and meet so many nice people..We rode some great trails in the morning, that he and his guys have made. Then stopped at the Blue Hole mineral spring and next checked out an isolated fishing cove along the coastline. The bike I rode was awesome and in great condition which made such a difference throughout my bike adventure,
Marshall thanks for an epic day and looking forward to doing another ride when I return to Negril. All the best Rich

My husband and I enjoy mountain biking on a regular basis, so whenever we go on vacations we try to find local areas to go mountain biking at. We were in Jamaica for a wedding and could not wait for this part of the trip because we were so excited to explore the town more. Marshall was a great guide and host. He made sure to stop and hook you up with water, because I managed to bring a water bottle full of gin by accident. Oops! He stopped throughout our adventures to grab some snacks and check out neat buildings on the ride. My husband is much more serious of a mountain biker than I am. I think Marshall did a great job anticipating our skill levels and is very flexible with his trail system. I think beginners would have a very good time on this experience as long as they're up for a little cardio activity.

Thanks to Marshall, I now want a full suspension mountain bike. I also enjoyed learning more about the town and country.

Thanks Marshall! Until we meet again!

I have to say that you two are the classic tour choice for a guide. You both love riding and meeting new people and appreciate all that Jamaica has to offer. I can't say enough about Jake's bike skills as they are second to none as I felt tested by his power and you also have some cool flair on the trails as well as being a strong brave rider. I hope to take you both on many more Excellent adventures in paradise. Again it was my pleasure riding with you both and I'm stoked you enjoyed the Transition Bandit. Sincerely....Marsh

If you're a mountain biker then you know rolling, bouncing, climbing, descending, sweating and maybe even some minor bumps and bruises are the best way to feel a connection with a landscape. "Marsh" of ZMBA led me through single track, back roads, dirt roads and historical footpaths, that put the feel of Jamaica in my body. Riding on a fully loaded 2018 Giant Trance, supplied by ZMBA, I experienced more than just the unique terrain, I saw real Jamaican neighborhoods and businesses and the friendships and renown that Marshall accrued through his 30 years of riding in Jamaica. When you're on a mountain bike in Jamaica everyone wants to wave at you and shout salutations or words of encouragement. "Rambo Rider!" is what I was called for a day and a half of otherwise unknowable experiences. Thanks, Marsh!

Im so glad you loved the experience and it sounds like you are giving back to Jamaica for what it gave you! We had a rad time off the beaten path together i really had fun riding with you. Yes being called a big mon or Rambo is a sign of respect as Jamaicans know how tough it is riding in country. Riding to Little Bay's RatBatCave and to the Blue Hole Mineral Spring and then the hills home made for a day in heaven. Also you are the 2nd tour rider to experience Little Bays Cave as I have added it to the tour choices now it has been Rivertide approved! Respect from me and the 40 legger bush doctors...see you soon. Marsh aka Bush Doctor

Marshall led me on a great ride. I’m a roadie and this is on mountain bikes. I wanted a challenge and a good view of the island south and east of Negril and I got it all. “Put the fork in”, I was toast afterwards! Excellent equipment, intimate knowledge of the roads and terrain. And a good guy and guide!

You are a brave and devoted rider and it was pleasure taking you on a massive ride that went outside your comfort zone. Being a roadie and challenging yourself to a full day in the mountains is a massive undertaking and you rode it well. I don't know if I would perform as well under reverse conditions like me riding a road bike for a full century day. My fears as a guide is my riders bonking or getting hurt way off the beaten path leaving us in a scary scenario but you kept it together deep into the Janky Jimmy Jackson where we are alone with no help in sight. These "off the beaten path" long rides are like self testing exams we seem to keep to ourselves. personally I had a blast and loved taking you beyond your safety zone I prey not too far. Respect from all of guys here and neil I hope to ride with you soon with less trails and more road! I have a new Giant hard tail down there now just for riders like you.

My wife and I found Marshall when we were searching for a biking adventure in Negril, and he was exactly what we wanted. He equipped us with top notch bikes including droppers, tubeless setups, and pedals of our choice (SPD of course), along with setting up transportation from our hotel to his place.

After getting geared up, Marshall took us on a 3-4 hour ride through dirt roads and a ton of singletrack (all of his making). Along the way he shared cool information about the surrounding area, introduced us to a local farmer, and showed us good places to eat. The trails were great. Marshall's trail system includes climbing trails, rock gardens, and fast descents.

Not only did we get to ride MTB on our vacation, but we were able to see parts of the country separate from the beach resort scene. It totally fulfilled our adventure itch for the trip. We ended the ride with callaloo and ackee patties from a stand on the side of the road, and they were GREAT.

Respect

Jake you represent mountain biking like a pro ambassador to the sport. It was crazy keeping up with a rider like yourself from a mountain bike mecca. So much fun I can't wait too ride again. You both are so classy and loving Jamaican's caught on immediately. I heard cool comments from some of my bush friends after Anna rode the trails as they were INCREDIBLY impressed seeing a female rider ripping up the Rambo trails. Again coolest vybz from all of us here at Zion MBA.

Had a great ride on and off the trails of the West End. Highly recommended 😉
We completed a 20+ miles ride with several climbs.
An enjoyable stop at the Blue Hole was followed by bombing down the mountain. We finished up on the coastal trails of SW Jamaica.

Everyone loves the Blue Hole Mineral Spring in Brighton. Sharing experiences like "The Blue Dream Tour" with friends is why I ride and do tours. The idea that people come down and stay in a compound never experiencing the marvels of paradise is frustrating to me. I have seen this Blue Hole grow from a vine infested rock pile to the incredible space it now offers is staggering. 20 years ago some of the tour riders shimmied down a vine to get to the hole and now there is a small hotel, a ladder down and swimming pool filled with the magical waters....yes MAGICAL WATER. Just floating for a few hours in the pool will do wonders to your body and mind. The ride was a taste of heaven and I hope to do it again with you. Respect from sweet Jamaica. Marsh. Zion MBA.

Met with Marshall at The Canoe Bar for a cup of coffee, then saddled up for a 3 hr. adventure on a rented Giant Trance 27.5. Dirt roads, wooded lanes, and eventually singletrack hand-carved by him and his crew. We also made asst. stops along the way at a local grocer, baker, and even to chill with some of his friends and acquaintances; a total Jamaican experience mon'. We ended up at a little restaurant/bar on 7-mile beach, discussing the history and future of MTB in Jamaica. Feel like I made a friend for life, and have already made plans to go again this year! Felt safe and welcomed by everyone I met that day, much respect!

Hey thanks so much for the kind words it does mean everything to us here. My goal is to share my love of Jamaica with dirtbags who love mountain biking as much as I do and show them the sweet places to hang and chill. I am really looking forward to many more adventures with you Tim as our ride was too short! Respect from Zion MBA.
