When you visit Negril, Jamaica, Collette's Bar is a must visit stop! The coldest beverages and best tasting food in the area. Plus she and her daughter were extremely pleasant, friendly and pour a great drink! So happy that our Tour Driver brought us to this wonderful local spot. First visit, but it will not be my last - I'll be sure to stop by next time we visit Negril - and I'll be bringing all of my friends with school supplies as she supports the community by donating items to the locals. Love her down!!

Went to Collette's for the first time and had a blast. Coldest beer I've had in a long time. Collette will make you feel like family. This place is a staple in Negril and a must visit.

Collette is the best! Her smiles and laughs are the best and her food is the best! Real authentic Jamaican experience, she is not a tourist trap. Amazing fried chicken and she makes the best fish for my rasta Thunder. He is very picky but never complains when I take him to Collete’s!!! Oh and I would mary her and take her home hahaha

I was truly spoiled by Collette Parker ❤️ two nights in a row. The first night was her infamous fried chicken. Otherwise known from here on as “ That Chicken” because from that first bite, you get the crunch from the batter that fried chicken is supposed to have and the seasoning that sends your taste buds soaring, it’s tender and oh so juicy you’ll be coming back for more . And that’s what I did. But Miss Collette asks that you pre order her food so she has enough time to prepare it just right for you.
My second night, I had slow roasted curry goat over a charcoal flame. She took the majority of the bones out so all I had was the most tender full-flavoured perfectly spiced morsels of goat along with her one of a kind rice and peas. Died and gone to food heaven. She puts so much care/love in each dish she makes. ❤️❤️❤️
Collettes is a must to anyone travelling to Negril. It may be off the beaten path but just ask any taxi driver to take you to Collettes Bar in Red Ground and they know where to take you. Nadine provides the upmost service, she knows customer service (unlike anywhere else in Negril) while Collette herself will entertain you with laughs and memories for years.

We had been a couple of times to Collette’s and had some ok vegan food as we’d been struggling to find reasonably priced vegan food in Negril. We booked with her for a third night - 1900 and turned up just after 1900 to find three measly portions of greens and potatoes (?) being put in polystyrene containers for us to take away or sit at her roadside table. The inside table had been packed away. Not the way to treat loyal guests. Shameful

If you vacation in Negril a visit to Collette’s in town is a must do. In a country with so many friendly people, Collette is one of the friendliest. She has an infectious laugh, a larger than life personality and she welcomes everyone with open arms. She serves ice cold Red Stripe and other beverages. If you arrange in advance she’ll make you a delicious lunch or dinner. For our group she and her son Shemar made escovich fish, fried chicken, and a veggie plate complete with sides. It was one of our best and least expensive meals during our two week vacation.

Collette Parker is a fine lady and a hell of a cook. Go to Red Ground and see her. If you want to have lunch or dinner at her place, give her a shout on Facebook and she'll cook you a fantastic meal for a reasonable price. She is an excellent hostess. She also gives back to the community. She has the coldest Red Stripe with the warmest smile in Negril. Collette's Bar is a must-visit when you are in Negril.

If your visiting the Negril area then a visit to Collettes bar is a must. Collette is the most charming, friendly, vibrant lady you will ever meet in Jamaica. She is so welcoming you will instantly feel like an old friend.

Just returned from a great lunch at Collette’s bar. From the moment I contacted her through Facebook she treated me like a long lost friend.
We had a lovely fried chicken lunch with potato salad and vegetables and a few beers and it was just great.
Collette, her lovely family and her friends will make you feel super welcome straight away.

This lady is the most hospitable woman I’ve ever had the privilege of meeting.!!
As they say in Jamaica nothing is ever “No problem” any visitor welcomed with open arms a truly amazing lady. And I’d go as far as saying… Go out of your way to visit her. You will not be disappointed..👌🏼❤️

Hi Nicola...not sure if its you but just read your wonderful review of a montego bay bar in jamaica... I think i met you in Skipton back in the 90's at the J and J .... good times!! Is the After Dark still there?? and bizzy lizzys?? Best fish and chips ever!! Is it really you??
