Came here with my friend ON A Saturday night. It was recommended to us from hotel staff and I can understand why as there are quite a few tourists here and it is a short walk too many hotels on the beach. The hotel staff said they have tight security here and everyone gets searched before entering so it is safe.
There was no cover charge but we arrived at 10:00 so not sure if they charge later.
Do not show up this early! We knew we were really early but had a flight the next morning so didn't want to go out too late. At 10pm there are only random couple making it in dark corners lol... The music is all slow and impossible to dance to.
It got busier around 11:30 but the music was still bad. Some good 90's/00's hip hop but also really weird music choices like reggae covers of Adele, George Michael, that song from Ghostbusters... Just weird and not dancey. Very little dancehall or afrobeats.
They have hookahs and guys selling weed and it gets very smoky but at least the upstairs is open air.
We were disappointed with this club experience.

I was so excited to finally go to Jungle. When I got in I wasn't blown away. The washrooms smelled so bad and the dj played majority American hiphop all night. I liked Bourbon in Negril. This place is overrated and full of tourists.

Very nice nightclub in Negril.
You can find a lot of beautiful girls here.
I really don’t understand men who complains about hookers.
In my honest opinion that’s a good thing for a man who want to have fun and enjoy the night, especially for singles.
Be less moralist.

The place is great. Good music, great drinks, fun people.
Only one problem. The manager is the creepiest dude I have ever seen. Skinny, little guy walking around making all the women uncomfortable. Very awkward. I told staff, they said nothing they could do he is the manager.
Had my young adult children there. My daughter's were freaked out by him. We finally left.
Great place otherwise.

All I can say is that I absolutely love this place. I have been on many occasions and have never been disappointed. In my opinion this is the best place for local nightlife. Admission price is a little more expensive than some of the other local places. However, I feel this is a good point as you dont seem to get the hassle compared to that say of Roots Bamboo where anyone and everyone just walks in and hounds tourists. Thursday nights are great and even better if you are a lady as admission is free before midnight (sorry guys!). Downstairs can get a little crowded once the action gets going and it's certainly an eye opener! If you fancy something a little quiterer there's the sports bar upstairs which is a ittle more relaxing. Bar service is good and the drinks reasonably priced. If you get a little peckish after all the dancing and action there's also a grill upstairs which serves great snacks. All in all it's a fab night out and one quick note for the management 'unleash the animal' never a true word spoken in jest, thank you ;)

Thursday night is ladies night and its a helluva party, and most peeps are there to dance. You get all types of cuties up in there, such as working girls, snobs, party peeps, locals, tourists, toothless, bald, fat, skinny, dwarves, tall, short, weird looking, and so on. All in all, you can't go wrong on a Thursday night. You can party upstairs and downstairs. As with any spot, be cautious. Watch your pockets and travel with someone. Ladies, there are some cool successful brothas in there. Look for the one's who are well groomed facially (clean cut), dress very down to earth (not flashy) and speak well. After the jungle, we went to scrub a dub. It's a car wash turned strip/after party spot. Always go after the jungle and go with someone. It's a helluva party for both men, ladies, couples, white, black, etc.

I dont know what any of these 4-5 stars are all about. The place was FILLED with atleast a hundred prostitutes and their pimps. The place was super sketchy from the start. You drive through a checkpoint like a prison and pay $15 USD to get in. At the door you get padded down by security. I could feel him checking out how much cash I had in my pocket. As soon as you walk in there is a lower level dance floor and bar with a good 20 prostitutes sitting around it. The bathroom had people blowing lines off the sink. Upstairs was even larger of a populus of hookers. When we left there was a large fist fight that started inside the gate and carried outside into the street. If you are a tourist you have a great chance of getting your wallet stolen or an STD.

I am an experienced visitor to Negril and after 12-13 visits over the past 20 years, I offer the following advice to new visitors. Also, I was a police man for 30 years, and can see some stuff that others cant).

I sat at the back at The Jungle one evening, just having a beer and taking in the loud reggae music.

I kept an eye on a very well dressed Jamaican male sitting at the bar. On one occasion, he had 2 very fit young Jamaican girls by his side and was pointing and talking about two guys standing watching the band with beers in their hand.

I then watched the two girls walk upto the boys from behind, and engage them in conversation. They had some conversation, and a few "dances" - just moving to the music while you stood. They were persistent and continued even after the boys sussed that something was wrong (maybe money was mentioned). They then left them alone.

Later, one of them tried it with an older (45-52) man. He listened for a few minutes, then walked away.

The cool dude at the bar made phone calls. 30 minutes later a beautiful (mid 40's) Jamaican woman appeared and spoke to the cool dude. He pointed to the single male, and she was off.

She went and stood alongside him, putting her large bag in the sand.

After a couple of songs I saw her leaning in and whispering in his ear. This continued for about 3 songs, then he rejected her and moved away. She returned to the cool dude.

I was at The Jungle on about 4 occasions over a period of 5 years, and loved how they operated from the back to target individuals.

On one occasion, two very gay looking Jamaicans (tight T-Shirts and short denim shorts) were speaking to the cool dude, then were standing next to two apparently ordinary guys. What did cool dude see that I hadn't, or did his females get short knock-backs.

All of the people sent by cool dude had red handkerchiefs on them. The guys had them in their tops or hanging from their pockets, and the older Jamaican woman had one hanging from her bag. Code to each other, or some other subtle indicator...

That's only on the sex-for-sale side of Negril.

I could write a book on everything, especially the drug scene.

Beware, when approached by incredibly beautiful women in Negril. If you are so disposed and aware of the risks to your body, and the fact that the girls have a body-guard outside or in your Hotel Grounds, go for it. Its an experience.

Otherwise, if chatted up by extremely beautiful women (Jamaica has many, many beautiful women), ask yourself WHY, and get to the money question early in the conversation, so you know what you are talking about.

Don't be taken for a sucker. Take the initiative.

Went on a Thursday night (ladies' night) with our group of 4 along with some friends we met at the resort & a few from the hotel animation team.

Women get in free before midnight & men were $10 US. Drinks were around $4-$5 US.

The crowd was an equal mix of tourists & locals. I felt safe with our group but I'm not sure I'd feel comfortable going alone or even with just 1 friend. If you're not with a large group but want to go, maybe see if some of the animation team from your resort will go with you or other friends you make.

The music was a mix of everything & the dancing is full of energy & great to watch or join in yourself.

We started on the upper floor & it got very hot while dancing as it's open walls, no AC. I think around 2am, it closes & you venture down to the main floor. This room does have AC and the music at that time was mostly reggae.

They do have food vendors outside for mostly chicken. I did grab some chicken (without jerk sauce since I'm a wimp) and it was still so good without any sauce.

I would certainly go back to this club during my next Negril visit.

My friend and I attended the Jungle on Saturday night which is their all-inclusive night, however not everything is included in your $15 entry fee. For $15 you get all of the beer and vodka that you want, which is a good deal. The club has two separate floors...downstairs is where you will find more of the locals partying. Upstairs you will find a lot more tourists mixed in with the local crowd. It is a open air nightclub with great music and three bars. The people were great and the music will have you moving all night long. The one piece of advise I would give is more for the ladies...do not expect to get all dressed up for this club. A simple summer dress and sandals is all you will need!
