Locals are always nice and the beer is always cold. Good price for drinks as well. Be advised that everyone on the beach has raised their prices in the past year. Inflation finally hit Paradise. Look up and see your name if you come there often as you can sign the over-hang. Need a massage, you can get an excellent one there for @40-50 US for an hour. Forgot her name, but she will loosen you up.

Make sure you stop here.

Shame i dont live next door to here all the time.

Everything you'd want if you're looking to stroll barefoot and drink lime daiquiris watching the sun literally set infont of your eyes shaded by a massive nut tree.

Being end of season you'd get to know everybody there ( a few daiquiris later and definitely everybody knew you).

It was my husbands first time to Jamaica and having this bar next door to us was the cherry on the top for me because he loved the place and now we get to go again yay.

And thanks Robert amazing host not to mention all employees and the bars neighbours (to the right).

Quirky beachy bar with likeable atmos.
Reasonably priced drinks, bar keep makes a heavenly cocktail. Some locals knocking about who are perfectly friendly. A variety of food choices next door if you desire. Amazing boozer to sit with the surf and a cold beverage watching that sunset x

Its a tempting looking bar, next to the Rooms on the Beach hotel, but it’s presided over by a malevolent-looking Rasta who calls himself Papa Ganja, and his gang of heavies at the bar who are ready to step in should anyone protest about being ripped off there. Also, it’s not nice to be referred to as bombaclats by the staff, especially when we know what it means. Best avoided.

We have been going to this bar and have know the owners since they were in old location down near Coco LaPalm. This is like a small town bar, where the owners (Rob and Maureen) have your drink ready even before you hit the bar. May locals also hang out here too which makes it fun to visit and see them year after year. We love this place and the hospitality they provide. Every so often you might catch Maureen singing!

Beware ! We stayed next door in rooms, which was a great hotel! However anytime we wanted to go anywhere it always people from this bar that came to hassle us, a lot of the time they were very intoxicated or off their heads on drugs it seemed, and can get very aggressive if you tell them no. They find it hard to take no for an answer, but don't be intimated by this and walk by this is what we did. A few very worrying stories from this bar from people who were staying in our hotel, the general message was steer clear.

SunnySide Bar on 7 mile beach in Negril , is mellow , cheap, friendly , perfectly located , right by the water. Order a Dirty Banana or a super Cold Red Stripe from the nicest bar owners on the beach . Try it , you won't regret it .

We liked this place most of all our walk down 7 mile, cold $1.50 red stripe under a tin roof right on the beach, when I think of beach bars this is it.
