Enduring the long arduous (pot hole-filled) road trip is definitely worth it. Very few water fall experiences compare...especially if you're daring enough to jump.

I always enjoy visiting here. It's calming, relaxing and a great water massage in the areas of the river with a heavier flow. A water shoes may be necessary to avoid sharp rocks. Also repellent is a must.

The falls are beautiful but it is definitely for those who like to swim as there is pool at the bottom. There's no where to really chill and vibe and enjoy the sound of the water. But still consider it a must see!

Breath taking experience! A must do once in Portland. You can swim with fishes in the river and escape into caves under the falls a well as have the falls massage your aching body.

About 45-50 min. Here is the guide I used for the tour in case you want to set it up before you arrive. Great experience! Leonard is his name and 1-876-488-0661 is his number.
