Gorgeous views, lovely beach. Sandy bottom but fairly big wqves and some undertow. A river flows into the cove and is calm and lovely for swimming with rope swings and also a sandy bottom. This part is good for the little ones!

We took a short drive from our villa at Goblin Hill to spend a day at the beach at Frenchman's cove. Though they said it would be walkable, it was downhill from the cliffs along a narrow road (which would have been uphill at day's end.) It cost about $6 US per person to get in. There was a yellow... This is one of the coolest beaches we've been to in all our travels. A river that flows into the ocean, providing a multitude of swimming experiences. Clean beach. Nice service. You can get fancy drinks, french fries and hang out on the swings they have. We enjoyed our time immensely and would go back more than once on our... More

We came from germany to jamaica to get married at jamaica one month ago. Our hotel was in Ocho Rios, but we wanted to take some wedding pictures at the Frenchmans cove, because we saw pictures and thought that it would look great. I wrote with the Manager (and I absolutely hope, that he or she will read my message!).... More

We thoroughly enjoyed Frenchman's Cove - in fact we went for 2 days during our 1 week stay. Definitely worth going to.

We were granted complimentary passes to visit the beach and cove. Very relaxing and gorgeous water to wade in from the river running from the mountains to the beach - clear and fresh.

Stunning! Fantastic waves for body surfing and beautiful soft white sands. There is a fresh water river that runs into the beach which you can float down in crystal waters, until it meets the sea. It's like being in a fairy tale or Disney movie, but better, as this place is made by mother nature. There are good loos on... More

Want to get away from a hectic work schedule this is the best place to go and unwind. The sound of the waves from the ocean is relaxing, the river and beach on the property is worth enjoying.

A beautiful cove where river meets ocean. enclosed with greenery and plenty of shaded spots. Rope swings in the shallows and trees for the children to climb and jump out of into the river, in which was teaming with fish. worth the 800 jmd entry fee (400 for under 12's) Tip: get there early before all the tourists arrive and...
