Spent all day here. Could spend forever. Absolutely beautiful. Great beach service. Went on a weekday when quite quiet. Truly lovely.

The Cove is a privately owned beach, with a 1000 jmd entrance fee. The fee covers the cost of maintaining the 45 acre property. Unlike what is happening at San San next door, this beach is immaculately kept. The sand is soft, white and ultra...More

Our favourite beech in Porty, there is an entrance fee and a sun bed rental fee but we felt it was worth it, the sea was warm here and you can walk out into the sea without treading on and rocks. A nice beech restaurant...More

Absolutely gorgeous location, unbelievably picturesque. Food takes a while, and you have to remind them as it can get very busy at weekends, but overall stunning! Entrance is around $8

Just as before, an awesome day. We got passes from Wilks Bay and got 13 lounge chairs in the shade for $26. We had drinks, food and such provided by the onsite restaurant/bar. Many many photo opportunities with the natural river flowing right to the...More

Everytime I come to Portland I go to Frenchman's Cove. Yes you have to pay to get in, and it's a little walk from the parking area, BUT once you get to the beach it's great. Crashing waves, a fresh water lagoon with a swing,...More

Beatiful beach, but unfortunately too much regulated. It starts with a entry fee of 10 USD per person and you have to pay for beach beds. Very nice location with beach and river running in. Water is a bid cold because of the river.

No surfing here. The beach is magical and lovely. It is really an estuary that is divided in half by sand. One side, from the mountains is brisk, clear to perfection and much cooler than its brother, the ocean. The ocean... More

We showed up. We stayed at Goblin Hill and drove over to Frenchman's Cove. As I mentioned in my review, you must pay $10/person. Which we did, but only stayed about 5-10 minutes. Overall we found the people operating... More
