Rocky beach

Nice for walking but not that nice for swimming, because the wateredge is rocky. People say that there are no seashells in PR but I found some modest ones on this beach.

My kind of beach - I am the opposite of a sun worshiper, but trees shade much of the beach, and I sat happily on my beach chair in the shade. And if you ARE a sun worshiper, no problem, plenty of spots to sunbath. I went twice, once with my wife who tried snorkling (no luck) and once alone.... More

Almost like a private beach! We visited in the beginning of December on a weekday, we where almost alone on the beach. It has a nice large parking lot, showers and dressing rooms. It didn't have those large surfs so it was a great for the kids (one day they didn't get pounded by the waves). The beach was super... More

We went in the low season .It was not crowded. Parking is $5.00 if you use the parking lot. The bathrooms are a $1.00. Plenty of trees for a shady spot or you can rent a pavilion for the day. They allow tent camping but not on the beach itself. Must make reservations. There is a small snack bar Lifeguards... More

The beach is easily accessible and plenty of parking along the road provides quick access. The water is comfortable and I saw several schools camouflaged amongst the seagrass. I did see some areas of fire ants in shaded areas so opted closer to the shoreline. It is not a great beach, but without having to take an excursion or pay... More

Great relaxing place to visit. Plenty of parking. Nearby activities for kids. Clean beach. Seems safe. Would recommend the area to others.

It was nice to get away, but it wasn't the best beach I've gone in Puerto Rico...and I'm local. If your going to relax and just get away from the city (like i was) its nice, but if you want to swim its a little meh, some rocks.

My family loved this beach. We arrived on a Sunday morning around 9am with 17 people in tow, and fun was had by all. Ranging in age from 3 to 75, the beach had a little but of everything for everyone from building castles along the mild shore line to napping under giant shade trees that line the beach. The...
