A last minute weekend trip to Puerto Rico! – Always a treat but sometimes a last minute trip means no rental cars available at a good price. Fortunately, I came across Europcar at Orbitz offering lower car rental rates. In fact, they were so low (about half the competition) that I was very skeptical. I read some of the online... More

My wife and I arrived to Puerto Rico on June 28th . We waited in the airport for about 45 minutes until Europcar shuttle arrived. We originally booked the car through Expedia with the total of $185. When we arrived the the main office, one of the employees spent 20 minutes arguing with us that he had to charge us... More

When planning our weeklong trip to Puerto RIco, I looked for a rental car. Went to rentalcar.com and put in the rental criteria. Along with all the "usual suspects", Europcar showed up. But at half the cost of the others. I immediately reserved the car. Somehow, Expedia was involved. So I called them to ask about Europcar and if there... More

My daughter and I just returned from a fabulous trip to PR. One of the highlights was the day we rented a car and explored the northeast area of the island. The staff at Europcar was so helpful and friendly. Timothy Velez was especially so. When we mentioned we were heading to Luquillo and planned to check out the food... More

If you want a good experience with a rental car at a reasonable price in San Juan, use Europcar. The owner's name is Timothy Velez. We were connected with him via the Double Tree. He dropped us off at the airport in our rental car free of charge :) He is fluent in English and was very friendly. FYI, to... More

We docked in San Juan on a Carnival Cruise. The weather was HOT the whole time we were there, so take lots of water! We walked around for a few hours and discovered my favorite part of San Juan, the beautiful monuments! We were maybe only 10-15 minutes from the ship at this point. They have full sized bronze statues... More

Planning our trip to Puerto Rico in February was an excellent decision. There is very little precipitation in Jan. & Feb. It’s not as hot and nor as humid around that part of the year. We enjoyed our vacation immensely! This Caribbean island is only 35 mi. x 100 mi., population is less than 4 million. English and Spanish are... More

I have visited many Carribean islands in my lifetime, but find Puerto Rico, one of the pretiest, most friendly, and safe island of them all. I had visited San Juan previously as a port-of-call on cruise ships, but had never stayed any length of time. This time I stayed for almost a week. It is beautiful and I am returning... More
