Best bar in old San Juan

A great casual bar that you can be comfortable in. There are many bars to stop in during your Old San Juan walks but my favorite is El Batey.

Best bar ever! Great bartender, great drinks, great time

Great dive bar

Awesome place. Great drinks and atmosphere. Even a pool table! Bartender is very friendly and mixes a great Mojito.

Best dive bar!

This is the place! If in San Juan you have to stop here. One of the oldest bars in old San Juan. Amazing jukebox. Coolest bartender. Cold beers! Good mix of locals and tourist. El Batey the best dive bar in the old city.

great dive bar

went after reading positive reviews. cold beer, juke box is full of unexpected music, and the walls are rife with notes from past patrons. cool spot

Love this place.

Every time we visit San Juan we always have to visit El Batey. The coolest bar in town. Stop in have a beer, meet some great people, and make sure you sign your male somewhere!
