A large and populated area in San Juan.. you can find The Puerto Rico Art Museum, Movie Theaters, Concerts Venues, Restaurants, Gay Bars, Sport Bars, Urban Art..Hotels, Hostels..and very nice night life..

This little neighborhood surrounding the placito is so fun. Many good restaurants with outdoor eating, whole families together, dancing. Two good choices are Chiccarone and Asere for PR food and Cuban. Try the grilled octopus

This neighborhood is starting to change with many new buildings going up, but I dont think a lot ok f the units are looking sold. They're definitely trying to modernize this older area.

Back in 1991 I travelled there to do some Shopping. The area is quite convenient for the Locals but it does not have an array as the Plazas.
