I would rate this landmark higher, but the property is gated without public access. Maybe there are tours, but I've never been on one. Puerto Rican governor still lives in this mansion.

This is a beautiful blue mansion that the Governor of Puerto Rico resides in.We had no idea that they gave free tours of this place. Missed out again! Beautiful from the outside too. In an awesome city with gorgeous views everywhere.

Although still November the Palace was decorated for Christmas and we thoroughly enjoyed the view. We had been enjoying the Umbrellas (see Fortaleza Street review).



We lucked into a visit to the Governor’s home and Paseo de Sombrillas. We arrived to the end of Calle Fortaleza before most other tourists and were able to enjoy the view uncluttered!
