Water is so crystal clear

We took the first ferry to the island so it was really untouched. They have Iguanas, beach lounging chairs and options to sit in the shade. Crystal clear waters and clean beaches

We stayed at El Conquistador casitas in Fajardo. They have a free ferry to the island every half hour Beautiful sand beaches, chairs, water sports, bocci, basketball, lunch and plenty of cold beer, soda and tropical drinks. It is a bit of effort getting there but it makes it harder to leave so you really embrace the beach. The water... More

We stayed at the Waldorf Astoria El Conquistador Hotel which, from what we understood, owns the island. There are ferries that run every 30 minutes out to this stunning little island. The water is so clear and blue, the sand white, and the view outstanding. Plenty of chairs and umbrellas. The only negative is that the sand around the chairs... More

It is a bit of a treck getting there, which didn't bother us. Cross the main hotel, take the elevator, walk by the stores, take the cable car and then the ferry. The island is pretty but very touristy. At one end the locals park their boats and blast music. Then you have a nice but overrun beach, and if... More

This beach can only be accessed if you are a guest at the Waldorf Astoria, which has a ferry that will take you to and from the hotel (approx 10 min ride) The ferry was an easy way to get to and from and came very frequently about every 30 minutes. The hotel has provided many amenities here, iguana restaurant for... More

One of the most gorgeous beaches I saw in my two months in Puerto Rico. Well worth a stay at El Conquistador just for this beach!

I stayed four nights at The Conquistador which is a little expensive on food, but Palomino island where they private beach is will be so worth the stay. At Palomino island look for Wilma. She is the most lovable, heart given waiter. Everyone is so friendly, but Wilma stole my heart!!. My room has the best view of the ocean... More

This private island has much to offer. You can relax on a chaise chair, go for a horseback ride, play free games, like mini golf, chess, ping pong, or hike the trails, snorkel and have lunch. Take the time to hike the trails. They have different scenic overlooks that are worth the time and make for some great pictures. Some... More
