Getting to Palomino Island is half the fun. The roughly 15 - 18 minute catamaran ride is a fun excursion. Once there, you can snorkel, horseback ride, swim, jet ski, etc. Also a pretty nice restaurant and bar is available. We found the beach a little soft and sloped for walking. Walking on the beach is one of our favorite... More

This tiny island is available for those who stay in El Conquistador Beach Resort. The hotel offers a free ferry every day for guests only. You'll find beach seats, umbrellas and food. I do not remember if they took cash or you can charge everything to your room. The island is enchanting with pristine waters.

Beautiful views from your beach chair of the mountains, clouds, and crystal clear water. Just breathtaking. The cafe was surprisingly good for lunch, too. We really loved spending the entire day on the island - even the ferry ride there and back from El Conquistador is pretty!

Little, but too beutifull. It is in the east, close to Fajardo, neard the "El Conquistador Hotel". This particular island have wonderfull beaches, transparents water in a quiet and calm place. It is not populated, so you have an island for yourself, for a nice vacation.

Loved the ferry ride and the day at Palomino Island. This is an absolute must do. Palomino Island is a very cool place. Lots of beach chairs, jet skis rentals, kayaks, swimming, snorkeling rentals, café, bars, and gift shops. it was a definite highlight of our trip.
