We absolutely loved Ocean Park beach. It was a lot less crowded than the other beaches by all hotels. The sand was course but still soft and the waves were quite large and strong but that's what made it so fun!! They were perfect for body boards or surfing.

We came here twice on our trip to PR since it was so close to our hotel. The first day, the water was calm and great for relaxing in. A few days later, there were huge waves and rip currents, just depends on the day.

Public beach situated between the two main hotel areas. As such more used by locals. Clean and with some welcome shade at the back of the beach. Felt safe but no lifeguards and the sea was choppy (but warm) in January.

Nice breezy beach. Very private, lots of windsurfers and lots of space to walk and enjoy the beautiful water.

We sat on this beach to wait for our room to be ready on the morning we got off the cruise ship. It was a Sunday and a lot of the locals were enjoying it too.

Beautiful soft white sand and very clean. Waves were quite high and strong so not the best for children. Situated in front of a fairly busy road but this didn't distract. Not many facilities and no toilets. Would recommend.

Spent a day here during our vacation. The waves were huge the day we visited but we had fun playing in the water. It seemed to be a great place for windsurfing and kitesurfing as well. There were locals and tourists alike enjoying picnics, and just relaxing and hanging out on the beach. A couple of vendors were walking around... More

Great, quiet beach in walking distance from our guest house. My husband and I enjoyed walking on the beach in the mornings and evenings. Loved the area. It is not overcrowded and is perfect for swimming, exercising or just strolling down the beach in the surf as the sun goes down.

I was staying a block away from Ocean Park Beach and enjoyed relaxing on the clean sand and swimming. It's not a large beach, made even smaller if it's high tide, but was a peaceful spot to relax in San Juan. I would not make this beach a must-see destination while in Puerto Rico, but if you find yourself nearby... More

This beach is located right down the street from the bed and breakfast we are staying in. Sandy bottom beaches, lots of palm trees and other trees for shade if you are not in the mood to lay out in the sun. Feels very safe here. A short 5 minute walk from the Tres Palmas Inn.
