Town square with some bench seats, statues and a few vendors. Nothing outstanding but a nice spot to watch the world stroll by.

Nice local experience, you can do your shopping and get great local food from street vendors. Nice and secure. Great to go on a family and romantic walk.

I love coming here and enjoying the atmosphere. It's a popular people-gathering area, so I'd often come, get a coffee, and just sit in the plaza and relax. There's a nearby park with a lot of pigeons, a cathedral, good shopping, and a lot of activity.

No cost to pop into this Plaza and see the lovely little cathedral and see folks feeding the multitude of pigeons. There is no cost and you can be in/out of this tiny plaza in less than 15 minutes or you can spend a little time walking around. For us, this was just a stop on our bicycle tour and... More

I recommend to visit plaza de Armas on Friday night. Specially when goes the Cepeda's family to play bomba y plena (Puerto Rican drum music). It's a super relax place to see the movements of old San Juan having a coffee and been fascinate with very nice people.

This is a very attractive spot in San Juan: Not far from thr cruise ship port and within easy walking distance to historic Old San Juan. There are lots of shops and restaurants, nice views, and plenty of pigeons-----none afraid of humans! And, it's FREE!

This is a great spot to start your day or to end it because of the different choices for Cafe con Leche. It's centrally located and provides an opportunity to sit and enjoy the city dwellers and tourists...and the pidgeons.
