We found the Museo in its spectacular building but there was only one section open a display of local children's work - we enjoyed it

I attended the annual Santos/Saints show where local artists exhibit their beautiful hand carved saints & 3 Kings statutes. Such beautiful craftsmanship. At the time of my visit the museum had only two rooms open. But one of them held an excellent show, the Cortes chocolate company collection. The family that owns the company collects contemporary Caribbean art, and whoever picks the work has a great eye....More

So many years living on the island, years ago. My husband remembers when his pediatrician was housed in this building back in the 60's! The collections are small, but so worth the tour, in particular if its scorching hot out. I was pleasantly surprised!!!
