    Meh

    Comparison is the thief of joy; Condado is certainly a beautiful beach. But not young child friendly. Waves are stronger and beaches are rockier than Rio Grande or Dorado areas we stayed during trip. Good, not great in my book.

    Beautiful

    Great beach. Nice views of the shoreline. Chairs and umbrellas can be rented. Close to shops, clubs and restaurants.

    Vacation

    Beach is beautiful, clean and clear. Hotel staff so accommodating. Peaceful and quite. Running daily on the beach was breathtaking.

    Need a tan

    This is a great beach to just come and relax. It is surrounded by rocks so it is not the best swimming beach, but the views make it worth the trip.

    Great Beach

    The beach is very clean and in a safe area. You can buy ice cream and coconuts on the beach from local vendors! It's also surrounded by lots of local restaurants.

    Rough ocean and many people drown here

    We are 2 strong men who swim well and almost drowned here. There are no warning signs about how rough the ocean is and all the undertows and all the tragedies that happen here. Go to Carolina Beach if you want to stay in San...More

    I was very underwhelmed by San Juan in general, and Condado in particular. There really is not much here to recommend. Lots of abandoned storefronts, junkies, and heavily armed security mixed in with seriously overpriced hotels and very mediocre restaurants. The Santurce area nearby is...More

    Sad to see the erosion caused by the most recent hurricane

    Nice teal water, white sandy beach

    Beautiful beach, best near LA Concha. Water was a bit rough so did not swim but walked on soft white sand with waves washing the feet. Beautiful.

    Yes it can be. They put up warning flags according to conditions. Can go in water shallow but need to be careful about riptide.

    The day I was there it was murky with a very rough surf condition. It is a rocky, foul looking place. It is not the "bath tub" calm, crystal clear kind of water you see at a place like Aruba, or Trunk Bay, or those more... More

    No, not at all. It's usually a bit rough. It's open Atlantic Ocean, not the Caribbean.
