Both days we were there red warning flags flew. However, the surf didn't look rough, but maybe an undertow was present. No place to sit unless you brought chairs or stayed at a beachfront hotel.

In contrast to Miami/South Beach the sand here is coarser. The breeze is relaxing as is the fresh air. Would welcome a stand pipe to clean my feet when leaving he beach.

Condado Beach was just a block from the condo we rented. It was a Sunday and very crowded. At first we were sitting near a group that was playing very loud music which got annoying so we moved further down the beach. It was still...More

not for weak swimmers. The beach goes from the La Concha all the way to Ocean Park. There are strong undertows and only the strongest swimmers should try to do more than just get wet along the shore.

The beach itself is nice. Soft sand and waves that extends a long way. Not much else there besides hotels.

This up and coming area was a pleasant place to say, particularly on a Sunday when the Puerto Ricans have a mini fiesta on the green near the Ice Cream parlour

The beach itself is OK, but the entire area is overflowing with U.S. style fast food joints, traffic jams, and tourists speaking English everywhere. Also, casinos. Not my scene, but the crowds tell me other people must like it enough.

Nice area to stay when taking a cruise. Condado beaches are nice and close to a port area. The area itself is safe and comfortable.

Flat $15 taxi. Uber not allowed in airport. Took Uber other places though.
HI, We will in Condado during Christmas time. We are looking at AirBnBs as well as hotels. Many of the AirBnBs do not include parking. I want to have a car as we like the sites outside of the city. Does anyone know if it is easy to find paid parking lots where you can pay to park overnight? Also, what do you suggest? Stay in Condado for 8 nights or is there any other places around the island to see. I am interested in seeing Ponce, Caves in Camuy, Rainforest, sugar cane plantation. I like beaches but don't like to sit on it all day. Thanks for any info.
