We passed the San Juan City Hall on our walking tour of Old San Juan. It was an impressive looking building that fit in with the architecture of the area. It is a government building near the Plaza de Armes.

City Hall is in a perfect location on the busy Plaza de Armas. City Hall offices are on the second floor of the building. On the first floor is a tourist information booth and a wonderful little gallery, Galeria San Juan Baptista. The small gallery of rooms has rotating exhibits. At the time of our visit the exhibit was Wise Pilgrims. It is a collection of prints, etchings, woodcuts and engravings related to the Epiphany. The collection depicting the Three Kings reflects works done between the 16th and early 20th century. Magnifying glasses are provided to closely examine the smaller prints. Admission is free. And, unlike other museums in the area it is open on Monday.

Directly on the Plaza de Armas, the San Juan City Hall is the center of government in San Juan. A delightful location, the building reflects the Spanish colonial heritage of Puerto Rico.

It was ok but the guides weren't that awsome. they seemed really weird. um we also had problems with getting into the Alcadia so we could not see the whole thing. but other than that it was ok.

I came in for the first time to this building a week ago with a tour! Being from Puerto Rico This tour showed me so much I didn’t know about Old San Juan, architecture, museums, churches, history and coffee shops!! Follow me and check out my reviews from this tour and create your own or write to me to book a $20 / 2 hour tour of Old San Juan with Yarilis! I will also post more pictures in the Picture area! Across the street from Plaza de Armas they have water and soda machines at te back entrance! Walk in all the way to check out the inside gardens and the glass art!! Get you Coffee at Café Cialitos near the Burger King (5 min walking) from the city hall!

A striking old structure located at The Plaza de Armas. Has a great classic look to it that is worth some pics. Didn't go inside, but enjoyed it's exterior.

If architecture is your thing this a don't miss spot. The facade is impressive quite amazing in itself but the interior is just as or more impressive.

Beautiful architecture, and grounds too. Lots to view and see. Especially if you're into older historical government visit buildings.
