Recommend trying this for anyone potentially interested in scuba and not yet certified. Much more exciting and fun than snorkeling! Kids ages 11, 12 and 13 loved it and guide made it very easy for all of us!

No.there are no ropes. you walk right into the ocean.the further you walk the deeper it gets... helmets,once under water aren't as heavy as above. it was an awesome adventure for me &my daughters
