If you have enough time while in San Juan before or after your cruise, check out the Capitol Stately building reminiscent of U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. Only Havana's Capitol building is better in the Caribbean.

A walk from the harbour to the Capitol is very interesting and once there you will enjoy the architecture and all the statues of USA presidents that line the highway outside. Across from the building there are magificent views of the ocean.

This capitol has a beautiful marble and a gorgeous mosaic dome. It is the only capitol that is located facing the water. It is located outside of Old San Juan.

The white marble building is impressive on the outside, but the inside is absolutely beautiful. There are two entrances, north and south sides. Each has 8 columns and 7 doors with inscriptions. There was a demonstration taking place on the front steps and two guards...More
