Probably the best beach in Vieques

Maybe the best beach in Vieques. My group doubt between this one and La Chiva. Both are really really good!

Yesterday we went from Esperanza to Caracas Beach for a just wonderful day. We ordered a taxi round trip for USD 30. The beach is just wonderful with white sand and very clear water. Bring your own; all you need for the day to eat and to drink, cause there are no facilities and you will have a great day... More

Waves are very little to none, SUPER clear warm water. Good for swimming or snorkeling. The sand areas are a bit rough, lots of debris from neighboring trees, flip flops a must. As the rest of Vieques, don't forget the mosquito spray.

Heard from a local to come here and he was right. We visited almost all of the beaches on the island and this was our favorite and best for sunning and family time. We also found some nice shells. Bring water and food - nothing in the area whatsoever. Easy parking but don't bring valuables (that goes for any beach... More

This beach is absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. I would think you could see to China with a good pair of snorkel gear. Make sure you bring sunscreen because youngest want to leave this beach. It is super clean and lots of room to play. As for snorkeling, this is not a great beach to find shells or any other things under... More

Do you ever wonder where all those travel magazines go to take pictures.... Don't wonder anymore, it is to this beach. Get out of the hotel in Vieques and drive 15 minutes to this beach. It is located inside the Natural Reserve which was formerly the Navy base. These beaches are unmolested, Great to do snorkeling and take awesome pictures.... More

A little wavier than blue beach but still really great. Totally sandy bottom and SO MUCH FUN for our children. When it got wavy on the right, we moved to the protected left side and it was just fine. The only beach where we saw other people, but only about 8 of them. Fantastic.

Caracas is one of the most beautiful beaches in an island that has hundreds of beaches. This one is frequently visited by tourists and locals alike. It has ample parking space, so it is very popular. It is absolutely recommended.

We visited Caracas beach, and love it there. The sand is very fine and white, water is gorgeous, warm, crystal clear even at depths over 5'. Definitely more people here than at Blue Beach, but it's worth a visit.
