One of our favorite walking beaches

I love this beach, it's often too wavy to swim in, but it's great for a walk up and down it, while the waves come crashing in. If you are a good climber you can go over some rocks... read more

Not a great swiming spot, but scavengers look for sea glass and shells,...great scenic view...not for picnics

I love this beach, it's often too wavy to swim in, but it's great for a walk up and down it, while the waves come crashing in. If you are a good climber you can go over some rocks at one end and it will lead you to a few more small secluded beaches.

Great sea glass hunting and very remote. Many colors of blue and green water splash onto the shoreline. A definite must if you are adventurous enough to make it to this enchanted isle. More development on the island is becoming evident with the W hotel and the many visitors from foreign lands, but still a real find for sophisticated travelers... More

You travel a long way to get to Vieques, a small island off the coast of Puerto Rico from the U.S., and what you find is a trip back in time. It is like what Costa Rica and Mexico were like 20-30 years ago. No kids hawking their wares made in some other country or asking to braid your hair.... More

Forget "Beach Glass Beach". This was a goldmine of glass booty! It's a bit rocky & shallow for a swimming beach, but if you're looking for somewhere to collect your souvenir treasures, here's your beach! Steps from the ancient ceiba tree, this should definitely be a stop on your tour of Vieques.

We stayed in a house that was to the left of this beach. We could climb over a few rocks and walk a little and we were here. The locals use this beach and there were a few small kids that were playing there with their families. My daughter enjoyed talking with the kids and the wife and I found... More

Our innkeeper J told us about this beach because of my friend Sue, who's a big sea glass fan. We found it at the end of a residential road, down some concrete steps. Not great for swimming due to the rocks right at the edge of the water, but there's TONS of sea glass ripe for collecting. Plus, it's just... More

The fun is in getting there...hard to find, but once you get there you find it's quite pretty.
