Nice beach with clear water. This area does not seem to have a breeze like many of the other beaches but still a cute beach to visit especially if you have young children. There were lots of clear fish to watch swim around you.

This is a really nice beach w/ soft sand and a gently sloping swimming area. My wife & I snorkeled here for probably an hour or so & there really was not much to see. The center of the bay (beyond the swimming area) is all flat bottom w/ sea grass. There's a bit of underwater structure on the left... More

Once of the many beaches on Vieques but certainly not the best. If your staying in Esperanza then it's walkable and makes a change from the local beach.

We noticed this is a great beach for children as it is sheltered and has little waves. Really private if you're looking for a romantic experience. Second clearest water on the Caribbean side.

It's a really nice and a little isolated beach. It's not as big and you might be the only person there if it happens. The water is clean and doesn't go deep very quickly so it's suitable for children. The beach has no shops or kiosks so you have to bring water and other beach supplies with you.

Media Luna is a very calm beach. A nice place to bring the family. Lots of shade. Lots of sand. Getting here is a little rough and if it has been raining, it can be muddy. Just about a kilometer passed Sun Bay. I personally prefer Blue Beach (La Chiva) but for many, this is a favorite because of the... More

We were very careful but thieves stole our bags right behind our backs while we sat on the beach. Very brazen. One of us was running and almost ran up on them in the act. They dropped bags and disappeared into the jungle. Stole $20 but would have more if we hadn't been right there We had read that this... More

There are so many GREAT beaches in Vieques. The day we visited Media Luna the water was a bit choppy but such a relaxing beach.
