This appropriately-named beach, curving like a half moon, is shallow enough to walk out 40 feet.

Pretty place to hang out, not to swim...rocky and a bit hard to get to but worth the effort to have a picnic and put your feet in the water.

The 5 minute or so drive down a pot-holed dirt road & the small admission fee are small prices to pay to get to this beautiful spot. Ideal for children & poor swimmers, the water is shallow & gentle for quite a distance. The bottom...More

It's a picture-perfect little beach, where you can sit in the shade and look out on the bay through the trees. No waves, so pick a seaweed-less spot and sit out on the water with a cold beer.

Beautiful. Calm, clear, shallow waters. Places for shade. Only draw back was a stench close to the parking lot. Not sure if the smell was from trash or what but if the wind blew just right, it was really stinky!

This beach was amazing. We got there around 9am and were the only ones on the beach except for a few wild horses. Truly an awesome experience. The water is about a foot deep for 30 yards which makes this great for little ones that...More

Easy to get to, convenient. Lots of shade. Tried to find Navio Beach (with rocks and caves) which was adjacent but never figured it out. The sand here is super fine almost like talcum; we were rubbing it all over our arms and legs for...More

This was an absolutely beautiful beach with palms, white sand, and clear/turquoise water. There were no waves, so good for just floating around. It is literally shaped like a half moon ("media luna"), and the landscape surrounding the little cove is hilly and beautiful.

Beautiful beach, relatively easy to get to. Calm, blue waters the day we went. Enjoyed passing the horses along the road on the way. It was quiet on a Friday, just a couple other people.

Can you walk from Media Luna to Navio beach?

You could, but it would be a very unpleasant walk. Rugged road and it's hot. But if you're up for the trek with proper shoes and plenty to drink, you could walk it.
