Our ship was in port so we took a walk around the capital which still have narrow cobbles streets lined with colonial and Creole style buildings and houses. We took a walk through La Savane, the park in the centre of the city and took...More

This is a small restaurant which was nicely set out. We had Champagne to start and set out with high hopes. When we ordered from a very limited menu, they had no scallops and one of the salad dishes was also unavailable. We were almost...More

The island is more of an European city, traffic jam, good infrastructure, narrow streets, French language and Euro currency. If you think of spending a day here like I did getting off the cruise ship, I think it's a good idea to carry Euro currency....More

Fort-de-France is a bustling town where the young and hip hang out. It’s a old and modern city as well with great architecture. The road of the Trace towards Morne Rouge takes you to a different sode of Martinique.

This is a great place if you are looking for something local or souvenirs to bring back home or to eat some awesome food in one of their restaurant. In one store they sell their hand made soap and it just smells so good in...More

This was a horrible excursion. Tour guide was rude and her English was very bad. It was a bus tour and the speakers didn't work on the back of the bus so very hard to hear! So when someone asked a question, the tour guide...More

We were on a cruise (NCL Pearl) and one port of call was the island of Martinique. The country is beautiful and compared to other Caribbean islands the roads are incredible. Unfortunately this beautiful place is occupied by some very rude people. They are still...More
